    My Favorite Cat Litter

By Kate on Jun 10, 2019

I love this cat litter because it doesn't have an odor, it is easy to sweep up from my tile and wood floors, and a 6 pound bag definitely lasts for a month. I have one 16 pound very active four year old cat. I adopted my rescue cat in 2016. I tried many different brands of cat litter, but my fragrance I love this cat litter because it doesn't have an odor, it is easy to sweep up from my tile and wood floors, and a 6 pound bag definitely lasts for a month. Poor clumping, smells

By angilmt on May 14, 2019

Read the reviews, took my chances. Hoping that it would track less than the grass litter. Perhaps it does, but I can smell it, an even when mixed with another great clumping litter, broke apart. A friend who was helping me asked if she should just dump the whole box. It had only been in there for 3 Read the reviews, took my chances. Hoping that it would track less than the grass litter. Questionable if I like it enough to buy again

The litter seemed too large for my cats. I do like that it’s natural cat litter.

    Great at odor control

    By on

I would give this an "A" in odor rating but a "c" in clumping capability and tracking through the house

    Grat addition to swheat scoop

    By on

I have two cats who use one large little box and generally are not picky about their litter. After discovering Cypress Fresh, I started adding it to swheat scoop - my main litter. I love it - it significantly reduced dust and tracking, clumps nicely with swheat scoop, can be flushed, and adds nice scent and freshness to the littler box. One bag lasts a month. Scooping takes a bit longer as I try to sift out loose pallets to avoid wasting good litter.

    Green Tea!

    By on

Love the smell (and lack thereof) The cats like the texture, tracks a little, but very low dust. Clumps VERY well. I would recommend a scoop that has round holes (you can get it here.) Works great with ALL litters.

    Misnomer I'm afraid.

While the cats don't seem to mind this pellet style litter, which is a good thing, the clumping aspect leaves a lot to be desired. Not my first choice, but would do in a pinch.

A great alternative to regular litter

Not all my cats use it. Some are still stuck on Tidy cats. But the ones that do. it's easy clean up and a pleasant smell

    Best Cat Litter Ever

    By on

We've tried everything for our two cats and this is hands down the best litter ever: it masks odors, is flushable, not too dusty, and safe for kitty. Five stars.

Best Natural Litter (and I've tried them ALL)

    By on

I have 2 cats in a NYC apartment which only allows for 1 litter box (of course not ideal I know). One is blind and has urinary crystals and the other is finicky about litter and leaves his presents just outside the box when he isn't totally pleased. So that is all to say that, I kind of am coming to this with all the possible things working against me. For a long time I used cat attract, but it really made a mess and that clay was just not easy to get up off the floor god forbid it also got wet and didn't do much in the way of odors. I have also used feline pine, walnut, pretty litter, and everything else remotely natural in between. Most of them don't handle odor well and since I have no choice I have 2 cats in a NYC apartment which only allows for 1 litter box (of course not ideal I know). I have also used feline pine, walnut, pretty litter, and everything else remotely natural in between. Most of them don't handle odor well and since I have no choice but to keep it in the tiny bathroom inside my bedroom, I don't want to be inhaling clay dust, or ammonia from urine either, or feel like there's sand all over the floor from silica. This litter, however, really REALLY controls the odor, and while it's clumping takes a little getting used to (I find that if I loosen things up from below where the urine is first, I can more easily scoop up the clump without it falling apart or getting too much clean litter coming out with me), it really is the best. And price for me, of course price is a factor but I'd much rather spend a couple extra dollars for something that actually works PLUS is light so I"m not breaking my back. At first this seems expensive for 5 lbs but it's actually the same volume and goes as far as probably 25 lbs or more of clay litter because the weight is so much lighter. Only down side with the lightness is that my cats can more easily fling it everywhere and you should make sure you have a box that won't tip over if your cats are really ones to dig and play around in there (that just happened once but if I keep it more full it doesn't happen). I'm so glad I've finally found the right litter that's healthy for my guys and easy on me! … more
