    Best litter ever.

By CatMom on Sep 20, 2019

Honestly I've gone thru a lot of different litter brands since bringing Purrcius into my home and this one is my favorite. Smell and decay

I was hoping the green tea would cover the smell and the wood chips would help absorb the moisture and smell. I was looking for a natural alternative but this litter did nothing except give me indents on the bottom of my feet from being knocked out of the box and turn into a dust that was hard to clean up even after putting a liner in. I will continue my search for an eco friendly litter but for now this is not my way of going. … more

    Best Litter on the market

This litter is the Best! Why.. well as a Professional Pet Sitter of 25 years, I’ve seen them all. This one will not bother your or your kitties respiratory. Frankly, we don’t think about how tiny their nose is and how the dust from other litter really affects them. Many clients use the clay litter and ick... it stinks. This has a very gentle natural smell. The clay litter creates dust that kicks up in the air and you can smell for hours afterwards, this does not. It does track, all litter does, get a mat to place in front of the box because I’ll tell ya, that sand like litter is WAY more work to clean out of carpet, wood, linoleum or tile floor regardless of the type of litter. My second most favorite part of this litter is the Light Weight Bag! Hello genius. Have ya ever tried to carry litter bags! This is so light and I know the UPS guy appreciates it just as much as I do. … more

    Shockingly Impressive!

I was hesitant spending $15 on a very small bag of cat litter, but after reading all the reviews I thought I would give it a chance. I have a new kitten with very long hair, and I’m attempting to keep things as natural as possible. I have to say, this litter is just wonderful! I have now had the same batch of litter in my box for 3 full weeks and I STILL do not smell anything! Nothing. I clean it daily. I go in and gently scoop and try not to waste any pellets. I have only had to add 3 cups or so over the 3 week period, to lightly freshen and or replace what I have scooped out. I’m so excited to have discovered this, as I didn’t want to get a kitty and suffer from the gross smell of dusty litter I was hesitant spending $15 on a very small bag of cat litter, but after reading all the reviews I thought I would give it a chance. It’s still better to step on than clay litter, and the rugs mostly catch what little flies out. I own a pretty large pet business and I have seen it all. This, in my opinion is the Gold Medal winner! THANK YOU! … more

Don't Leave Marilyn Home Without It

    By on

I originally found this product at my former neighborhood pet supplies store. I picked up the bag and it was light vs. heavy clay products. My cat, Marilyn, didn't seem to notice the difference but, I did. Not only was it light, it also had a pleasant smell. Shortly thereafter my chiropractor asked me if I drank green tea. I said "No". Weird but, OK. He is reminded of green tea whenever I am there at the office. I realized shortly thereafter my early morning appointments were post daily litterbox maintenance. Recently, I moved/drove across country with Marilyn. The Green Tea was also a familiar smell for Marilyn. When I arrived in my new town, the pet supply store didn't carry Green Tea litter. I settled for pine pellets, adequate but, again, heavy. I checked out Chewy and to my relief, and delight, there is was! PLUS, the Chewy's price was 33% lower. I would recommend this product anyway, however, living in a small space - this is the ideal product. … more

    The BEST cat litter ever!

    By on

I have two very choosy Siamese cats when it comes to cat litters. They took to this one right away, and I have found it the best for odor control of all the natural cat litters I have tried. I was strongly discouraged from using a clumping clay litter, and I avoided clumping natural litters until I just couldn't stand the urine smell anymore. All the natural litters I tried worked for about a week, as far as odor control, but then they all began to stink pretty bad. One bag of this litter lasts ~5-6 weeks, and that is for 2 cats using one litter box. I scoop it out twice daily, and I have a litter box enclosure (necessary, because this stuff tracks pretty bad, and I also have a little pug I have two very choosy Siamese cats when it comes to cat litters. My Favorite Litter

    By on

This litter is expensive which is the only reason I don't order it more often. I LOVE the way it smells and somehow, even though it's natural, it masks the bad smell enough and is very easy to scoop out the clumps without wasting the untouched pellets. I'm not going to say that immediately after the cats poop in there I can't smell it, but I scoop it out and then it goes back to smelling lovely.

    Excellent litter

This litter checks ALL the boxes. It is totally natural, completely odor-free, and clumps perfectly for easy litter box cleaning. It is by far the best litter I have ever used.

    Truly love this product

    By on

This is my favorite cat litter, and the only kind I’ll use. My local pet store is no longer able to get it, but thanks to Chewy.com I can keep getting the brand I love for the same great price I’m used to, and get it delivered right to my door. Thanks Chewy!

    Better Odor Control

    By on

I did a simultaneous trial of this with the Weruva tea product. This most definitely has better odor control for urine and poop. It has a decidedly pronounced green tea smell where the Weruva is more woodsy. The tea smell is very pleasing and seems to be particularly effective at handling cat waste. In terms of,clumping it is the same as Weruva.in terms of scooping, these pellets are larger so the long slotted scooper I use clogged easily. You'd want to use one of the beefy metal scoopers with bigger holes to clear the good pellets. You also want to shake or tilt the litter box to get the unused pellets off the pee clump. My cats like this litter

    By on

My cats like this litter, and so do I! It is lightweight, has less dust than clay litters, and helps to control cat box odors. I highly recommend it!
