This next gen litter mixed with Almo nature unscented clumping grass Guys! Let me tell you the secret of a successful litter box. I have tried everything- from clay, clumping, non clumping, worlds best, feline pine, etc etc.... so trust me when I say these two cat litters will bury your worries away. This next gen litter mixed with Almo nature unscented clumping grass litter is the combo. Minimal tracking, the best clumps I’ve ever scooped, no stinky urine smells, and my cats are good with it too! (I know they are because if they aren’t happy with a litter they’ll try to bring little towels or bags into the box to bury their deeds). The green tea scent is amaaaaazing. … more

    Not Good, Don't Buy

By Bailey on Sep 4, 2020

So this litter is terrible at clumping after day 1. It also reeks of ammonia. If I had gotten this at the dollar store I wouldn't be so upset, but this is expensive! I've tried tons of natural and unnatural litters, and this is hands-down the absolute worst litter I've ever purchased.

    Smell and decay

    By on

This litter is something I so wanted to work, one of my cats never learned to cover their poop and both of my cats have smelly poops due to their all natural diet. I was hoping the green tea would cover the smell and the wood chips would help absorb the moisture and smell. I was looking for a natural alternative but this litter did nothing except give me indents on the bottom of my feet from being knocked out of the box and turn into a dust that was hard to clean up even after putting a liner in. I will continue my search for an eco friendly litter but for now this is not my way of going.

    Not Worth It

    By on

Doesn't clump. You end up throwing out way more than you should because the unused portion is not separated from the used ones.

    Very Dusty

    By on

Very dusty when I poured out the bag into the litter box. Tracks all over the bathroom. I don't really care the the matcha smell in the bathroom. I think it's cuz I drink matcha tea daily. Clumps fall apart when I scoop it. I don't recommend it.

    Disappoints

Scoop out waste means scooping this litter into the trash bag too. Very expensive because of the necessity to purchase at least 4 bags per month. The pellets are hard on the cat's paw pads. Won't buy it twice.

Not for my long haired cat

    By on

I found that the litter stuck to tuffs of fur on the bottom of my cats paws. Found litter outside of litter box, and all over the house, and on cats sleeping area and beds. I was sweeping and vacuuming every day. The litter pellets are dark and turn a very dark color when cat used litter pan. Does clump, but stuck to the bottom of litter pan.

Not happy with product, too much airborne dust.

    By on

I was very surprised to find the amount of dust created by this product when I used the litter scoop in the litter box. I immediately collected the litter and threw it in the trash.

    My Cats Wouldn't Use It

    By on

I thought this would be a great product for what I needed, based on the reviews, especially since it is hard to find good lightweight, unscented cat litters. My cats didn't like the way it smelled. They wouldn't even go in the box. I only mixed a little in with the old cat litter to let them gradually get used to the change, but they came up to the box, sniffed, stepped back and gave me one of those "are you crazy" looks cats are so good at and left. Fortunately, I only put it in one litter pan and they had others to use. The "tea" smell was very intense. I won't purchase it again. It also is very big pieces and wouldn't go through my scoopers well.
