Who says learning can't be fun? With the Dog Brick Plastic Interactive Dog Toy, you can stimulate your pup's brain and have a blast at the same time! This unique toy is a tricky and activating game for you and your dog. Hide treats in the nook under the sliding discs, and let your dog look for the goodies by trying to pull the discs to the side with his paw or nose. Increase the degree of difficulty by placing the white plastic blocks in the nooks in the middle of the DogBrick. Your pup will love the reward for a job well done, and you'll love watching him put on that doggy thinking cap!
Key Benefits- Provides mental stimulation to help keep your dog's mind alert.
- Level of difficulty 2 and 3, for the more advanced treat hunters.
- Hide the treats and watch your pup paw and nose them to reveal their prize.
- Enhances your relationship with your dog by rewarding him with treats he loves.
- Change the difficulty by using the white plastic blocks placed over the treats or just sliding the brown discs.
Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.

How to Play: Place treats or kibble in compartments of base and sliding blocks. Cover middle compartments with the bones. The more covered compartments, the harder the puzzle will be! Let the games begin! Show your dog how the game works and encourage them to find the treats. Dogs are smarter than you think. Sometimes we just need to teach them! Leave some of the bones out and flip open the blocks to gain your dog´s interest.
Frozen Puzzle: Mix some canned/wet dog food or raw food with water, pour some of the mixture in the hollows, or place a small piece of sausage or a tasty treat in each of the hollows, pour a little water, put the game in the freezer and let it set. Perfect for energetic dogs, hot weather, or just extended fun.
Easy to Clean: To wash your dog’s DogBrick, simply remove all treats/kibble and hand wash with warm soapy water, rinse clean and dry. Fill again for more fun!
Healthy Playtime Problem Solving
Did you know that 15 minutes of mental exercise can have a similar effect on your dog’s emotional well-being as 30 minutes of physical exercise? Dogs love to explore and problem solve and will use their noses and paws as tools. Each Nina Ottoson puzzle toy game is designed with your dog’s natural behaviors, senses and safety in mind.
Reduce Unwanted Behaviors
Setting your dog to work on a puzzle or game helps focus his attention and energy. This mental redirection can help reduce boredom, anxiety and destructive behaviors, too. Try using puzzle toys to distract your dog from fireworks, thunderstorms and other stressful situations.
Four Levels of Play
All dogs are different. That’s why each treat puzzle toy was designed with a different level of difficulty—to please dogs of all skill levels, whether they are beginners or puzzle-solving pros. Start by choosing a level that suits your pup’s skill set and level up as he learns!
Level 1
Perfect for beginners, these puzzles help gain interest and prepare dogs for puzzles to come.
Level 2
Features added obstacles, requiring your dog to combine actions to retrieve each tasty reward.
Level 3
These advanced puzzles challenge your dog to complete several steps in order to reach the hidden treats.
Level 4
This is the hardest level and requires multiple steps and problem-solving skills to solve!
For Bonding and Training
Nina Ottosson puzzle games are a great way to build your relationship with a newly adopted dog or help a shy dog come out of his shell. You can also use puzzles to help train your dog and practice basic commands like “sit” and “stay”.

Also for cats, successfully enough
By Clutterbuck on Mar 16, 2022
I took a spring on this "dog activity" on the recommendation of several credible youtube cat reviews. Like the most successful puzzle feeders, this one contains a variety of challenges ranging from easy to challenging. My cat has 2 figured out so that's a happy start, and even a satisfactory finish. (Maybe she won't ever master the flip-up technique, time will tell.) Of course, designed for dogs, this toy is a bit oversized for a cat but that's not a deal breaker. This company designs nice stuff.

Perfect puzzle!
By cik419 on Mar 7, 2022
Our 2 dachshunds destroy plush toys instantly, so we’ve been looking for options to keep them occupied and mentally stimulated that will last longer. The Nina Ottosson puzzles were the perfect solution. We have this puzzle and a Level 1 puzzle. The dogs love both! We put a portion of their dinner in them almost nightly and it keeps them busy. We either give this puzzle to both to work on together or give it to our more food motivated dog and the easier one to our other. Highly recommend!

LOVE IT - I am basically a sales rep to my friends for this toy
By RachelS on Feb 10, 2022
From the moment I learned about this toy, I have been recommending it to all my friends with dogs, even before I had a dog of my own. They have all loved it so far. And now that I have my own dog, of course I got one. He loves it too! He really likes these toys that can make his regular food more interesting - I put 3-4 pieces of kibble in each of the sections and a small treat in each one, and that is enough for him to go ham. After purchasing it, I learned that the lids just fold over - they don't snap closed - so they are easy for the dogs to open up with their nose, a paw, or (like my dog) gripping the little tab in his mouth and moving his head to open it. The lids also can snap off fairly easily, but they also snap back on with ease. I would definitely recommend keeping an eye on your dog if they are prone to chewing on random items since the lids and bones come off. Depending on the size of your dog, and their determination with pawing it, it is prone to sliding around on hard floors, so keep that in mind when you are setting up the area for the toy. The only thing I would change is to make it dishwasher safe. My boy Mathew has a lot of drool and it's always pretty well slobbered on by the time he is done. Not having to wash it by hand would be great, especially since the little red containers are not intended to come out of the toy. … more

Picky dog's new food bowl
By Eddiesmom on Mar 12, 2022
I know this is supposed to be a game for my dog, but trying to get him to eat has been a pain. No health issues, he likes his food, he's just a very picky dog. So, I put his food in all spaces and took out the white bone "game" pieces. He has been eating with no problem now. My little 14 lb Chihuahua mix is loving this... for now. I'd have to say, this was money well spent if it's getting him to eat. I've tried everything. I guess he just needed to play with his food.

Fun times!
By MaryE on Mar 3, 2022
I was skeptical that my 11 year-old Bichon would like this or be able to do it. But to my delight, she really loves it! It is fun because you can hide the treats under the bones, under the red pieces and also inside the red pieces. She spends time searching for each, because she has to get the bones out of the way to get under the red pieces, and she gets them all! I like how she has figured that out. I may have to kick it up a notch (as recommended), and hide this under a blanket or something to make it more challenging, but she really likes it, and so do I!

Excellent Puzzle for All Breeds
By BBBBfamily on Feb 21, 2022
Love this puzzle! I have seen it enjoyed by many pups. My young Border Collie, prefers to use his paws to open the lids, move the bones and slide the sliding compartments to find the kibble/treats. My mom's XL Pit Bull carefully removes each lid (as they are meant to come off if the pup prefers) to find each kibble and then slide the sliders with his nose. My mom's miniature dachshund struggled a bit, so we added pieces of rope to the white bones and he uses them to pull the bones out, then his nose to open compartments and slide the sliding boxes. My friend's schnoodle removes the lids with his mouth, this uses his paws to get the other kibbles out. Entertaining for us owners and a great way Love this puzzle! Holds a cup of kibble
By Rose on Feb 26, 2022
I put my dog’s dinner in this every few days. It holds a whole cup of kibble if you evenly distribute it throughout the hide holes. My dog gets so excited when she see me take it out. Do not let your dog play with this after meal time is over as the plastic is not durable. My dog chewed a lid right up when I wasn’t paying attention. I am planning to get the next level of difficulty since this puzzle is very easy for her. It takes her about 3 minutes to eat dinner with this puzzle so it is just a little better than a slow feed bowl for that purpose.

Poodle loves this toy
By Deann on Mar 11, 2022
We have a miniature poodle that is older, so she doesn't do a whole lot other than sleep and get pets. I wanted a toy to keep her a little more active. She loves this puzzle and if she is wanting attention in the afternoons while I am working, it's a good distraction for her. She loves finding the treats and will work on it for about 30 minutes. She isn't very good at removing the white bones, but great at the rest.

Meh. Dog enjoyed it, but it was way too easy.
By Wendy on Feb 28, 2022
This is the first puzzle toy I've ever bought. It only took our fox terrier about 2 minutes to get all the treats the first time we used it, and we used the white bones right off the bat. The second time, it was less than a minute to get all of them (6.) I'm glad I didn't start with an "easy" puzzle if this is considered moderate. Now I'm wondering if I should even bother with the ones that are supposed to be hard if this was supposed to be moderate to hard!

My dog LOVED this!
By EileenC on Mar 2, 2022
My little terrier mix (think dog who will NEVER GIVE UP) loved this puzzle! She asked for it all the time now :) We started with a high value treat and she is so cute flipping the pieces up to get the treat. The puzzle is harder than it looks. The red pieces have to slide to get to the treat under the red boxes. If you have a smart terrier who will persist until she gets what she wants, I highly recommend this puzzle.
