So far so good
I bought this puzzle as stimulation for our yellow lab because we’ll be in a travel trailer all summer and she so won’t get as much running as she’s used to.
I started out easy, leaving out the white bones and my dog needed very little instruction. She used her nose and tongue to expose the treats. I was afraid she might pick up the whole puzzle or try to chew it too hard but she did neither. I will continue to load the puzzle in more difficult ways to increase the challenge, but I am satisfied with the way this puzzle kept my dog’s interest. It seems to be well constructed and though not “easy to clean,” a sprayer hose in the sink and a palm brush did the job quickly. I’m satisfied with this choice of puzzle for my girl!

Fun for the pup, less so for me
I got this puzzle to provide mental stimulation for my dog. It worked! She would flip the whole thing over to get the treats out from under the bone-shaped covers, which would scatter everywhere. Tracking them down later was a bit of a pain. She sometimes pulled the red drawers out completely, so I’d have to find those and slot them back into place. If it weren’t for the hassle of reassembling and washing all the individual pieces, I’d give a 5 star review.

New to puzzles
It took my 4 yr old Cairn terrier about a week to totally figure out how to access each hidden treat. I use part of her dinner dry treats so that she is not only inspired to find them but so that she does not gain any weight. At first she used only her nose but now uses a paw to assist. I must say that one of the cats figured out how to find the treats before the dog. I had to show the dog what was hidden but not the cat.
I Have A Cheater
My pointer collie mix Lola was a little too clever and flipped this over to shake the treats out LOL. Once I held it down for her though, we enjoyed it. I like how there are hidden treat compartments underneath that you have to flip and slide to get to. Worth the clearance price for sure, but if paying full price , I would have gone for a higher level.
Keeps Husky entertained
I have a young Great Pyrenees/Husky mix. Everyone knows a bored Husky is not a happy Husky- this puzzle is one of her favorites. We have others but she gets so excited when she sees this one. The lids that flip open are easily removed (by her every time) and pop back in easily. It’s even held up to her frustrated bites where she’s nibbled at the corners. I give her this puzzle about 3x a week when I leave for work and I know she stays busy for at least 30 minutes.

Not for heavy chewers - monitor closely!
This puzzle is very cute with lots of different opening and sliding compartments for food and treats. Still fun for the dogs after multiple attempts. Unfortunately it is NOT FOR HEAVY CHEWERS. I watch my dog carefully 100% of the time she is working on this puzzle toy, because the plastic does not hold up very durably.

Level 4 is Trully Challenging!!!
My Corgi, Kipper, just Loves the Nina Ottosson Level 2 and will tear through that puzzle so to challenge her I purchased the Level 4. She can do the sliding pieces fine, but has yet to master the wheel portion. I want to teach her, but she is pretty obstinate in doing things for herself!
Challenging Starter Game
We have two Jack Russell's, one 2 years old and the other 15. Both of them love this game and have gotten better at it over time. They play separately. It's fun to watch them slam open the doors and lift the containers. It took them awhile to figure out how to push the white lids out of the way.
Nice brain challenge for dogs
My Yorkie enjoys playing with this puzzle and finding treats in all the different boxes and slots. However, I have to watch him carefully and take it away when the food is gone, or he rips the doors off the hinges and starts chewing them and chewing the bone shaped pieces. He'd destroy this if I wasn't paying close attention. I think he needs the more challenging puzzles, as this one didn't take him long to figure out. This was his first puzzle.
easy peasy
This is the first game I've bought for my senior standard poodle/staffy mix. She didn't hesitate to dive in and have a go at it. I did have to explain the rules: like not using her paws, or not ripping the red lids off or chewing on the bones. She loves playing the game and getting her treats. I'd give it 5 stars if the lids were a little tougher to pop off the hinges.
(Hint: Make sure to put a mat or towel down. Lots of slobber!)
