Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.
How to Play: Place treats or kibble in compartments of base and sliding blocks. Cover middle compartments with the bones. The more covered compartments, the harder the puzzle will be! Let the games begin! Show your dog how the game works and encourage them to find the treats. Dogs are smarter than you think. Sometimes we just need to teach them! Leave some of the bones out and flip open the blocks to gain your dog´s interest.
Frozen Puzzle: Mix some canned/wet dog food or raw food with water, pour some of the mixture in the hollows, or place a small piece of sausage or a tasty treat in each of the hollows, pour a little water, put the game in the freezer and let it set. Perfect for energetic dogs, hot weather, or just extended fun.
Easy to Clean: To wash your dog’s DogBrick, simply remove all treats/kibble and hand wash with warm soapy water, rinse clean and dry. Fill again for more fun!

This puzzle has many sections for treats and entertains my puppy (used to be about 10 minutes but now closer to 5). I like that the lids on the red boxes are designed to snap in/out of place so my puppy isn't breaking them off. The plastic is very easily chewed apart however, so this definitely requires supervision to keep him from breaking off small pieces of plastic.
This has become one of my pups fave items. I use it now to feed at least one meal a day so they get some mental stimulation and slow feeding. It’s interesting to watch them execute and conquer the challenges. My dogs are 60 and 100+ pounds, and these have stood up against them easily.
My 15 year old Pekinese-Poodle mix graduated from the easy puzzle, that she could do in a minute, to this one. It is definitely more challenging. She’s been at it for 5 days and has almost finished it, but it takes her about 10 minutes. I’m kicking myself for not buying her puzzles years ago!
I got this toy hoping my dog would be interested in figuring it out. He loves it. He gets so excited every time I bring it out. Like any toy, this one needs supervision. The hinges on the red boxes are made to snap off, and my dog will snap them off while trying to move the box around.
I love the Nina Ottosson collection! I wish there were more advanced puzzles for my smart girl! I feed her exclusively with these puzzles and it's so enriching for her. I love that the material is safe for her to chew on because she loves to chew!
I thought the pieces which hide the treats would pop up when the dogs nose or paws hits it. They do not. They have to be lifted or the dog is going to eat/bite those pieces to get to the treat. Lol.
I thought this might be too small for my grown Rottweiler, but once we sat it down in front of him and he had time to figure it out he had a good time. We go back to it frequently just to keep him thinking. I recommend this.
He needs a little assistance right now, but in time, I think he will get the hang of it. My friend's Alaskan Malamute is a pro at this puzzle and looks forward to it every day. It challenges his mind.
My Golden Retriever loves this game/toy. He figured it out way too fast though. So I only put food in a couple of slots to make him really use his nose.
This did not work for us. The pieces come apart and got chewed up. I was worried they would choke on the plastic and threw this one out.
