Well made toy

This is a really well made puzzle toy. There’s different ways to adjust the knobs to add variety for your dog. I already owned a Level 2 outward house puzzle toy which took my dog some time to master, so I thought that a different toy would pose difficulty to my pet. Unfortunately she was able to figure out in 10 minutes even after adjusting the configurations. I will most likely have to find another home for it. If your dog is new to puzzle toys I would highly recommend this one! However if your dog has done puzzles before I would go for a toy with higher difficulty.

It's either too easy or too hard for your dog

Our dog got the treats out of here wayyyy too fast. I want to return this actually. It's well built and easy to rinse off to clean and a decent size and it does not slip too much on the ground (with it's rubber feet and heavier materials)... all that said, I guess our dog is smarter than the puzzle. We tried giving it to our neighbor's dog but she nosed it and wouldn't even try. I kind of wonder what dog is a good candidate for this. We have a level 3 puzzle for our dog and it is a bit challenging but she eventually does it. Thought this would be perfect but it isn't.

Sturdy but not complicated

Both my basset hounds had all the treats out in 15 seconds or less. I bought it to occupy them rather than slowdown eating. Tried it on the neighbor dog and she wasn't really into it. She figured out how to open a couple and then gave up. I think I need something more advanced for the bassets. All the dogs are 2 - 4 years old.

Husky Puzzle

I’ve got a Great Pyrenees/Husky mix- she’s busy! Full of energy and loves to be entertained. When she’s not watching the farm animals I give her puzzles so she does get bored. Bc a bored Husky is not a happy one! She figured this puzzle out pretty quickly and we lost a couple of the spinners after the second use, but I was able to pop one back in. She gets very excited when she sees it and we use it a few times a week. It’s held up through her biting and flinging it across the yard.

Fun for dogs

My dogs really enjoy this toy. Even after having done the puzzle several times, they still love when I take it out of the box and fill it up. They get so excited! Once it's on the floor, the dogs have a ball finding the treats. One of my dogs is very methodical, going from slot to slot. My other is so frantic that she's a lot more haphazard.

Great puzzle, clever boy

I bought this because it has no removable pieces to chew up or choke on , because it looked more difficult than any other puzzle I looked at and because our male Dobie needs to be challenged mentally on a regular basis. So I thought this one might be a bit of a challenge. Phffft! Not. As soon as we received it, we placed little pieces of kibble in each of the holes, covered them up and set it before him. To our amazement, in no more than 6 seconds, he had “unlocked” each and every hole and gobbled the bits down. On his first attempt! We tried it again with the same results. I was so disappointed because I thought he would be challenged. Now I don’t know what to do with it.

Entertaining Dog Toy

This is a very sturdy, innovative, entertaining, dog toy. I put kibble in the open areas for my dog to push or slide with her nose. The price was amazing! Thank you chewy for supplying and providing such fun products for our furry friends!!!!!!!

Great puzzle with multiple difficulty options

I bought this to use with my service dog. She loves it. You can just put food in the compartments and make it more challenging by moving the "leaves" over the wells with food. Slide a peg over and the dog needs to shift the peg aside before she can move the leaf-lids and access the treat well. Finally, you can add yet another level of difficulty by dropping a bit of treat into the holes of the pegs. Those treats will only drop into the well as the dog shifts the peg over the well and then back again. Very heavy duty and has quickly become a favorite to use for some brain puzzle playtime with my dog.

Not for large dogs

Great concept, but not for dogs that are very strong! The knob piece broke off, and then the bottom of that knob piece cracked off into 2 smaller pieces within minutes of him pushing it to open for a treat. Thank goodness for us supervising or he would have eaten the knob and pieces.
