Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.
How to Play: Place treats or kibble in compartments of base and sliding blocks. Cover middle compartments with the bones. The more covered compartments, the harder the puzzle will be! Let the games begin! Show your dog how the game works and encourage them to find the treats. Dogs are smarter than you think. Sometimes we just need to teach them! Leave some of the bones out and flip open the blocks to gain your dog´s interest.
Frozen Puzzle: Mix some canned/wet dog food or raw food with water, pour some of the mixture in the hollows, or place a small piece of sausage or a tasty treat in each of the hollows, pour a little water, put the game in the freezer and let it set. Perfect for energetic dogs, hot weather, or just extended fun.
Easy to Clean: To wash your dog’s DogBrick, simply remove all treats/kibble and hand wash with warm soapy water, rinse clean and dry. Fill again for more fun!
I got this level one toy for my 7 yo 8lb silky terrier to teach her about play. she is a rescue from a puppy mill. it's not small. its twice the size of her head and she was terrified of it. might be ok for some dogs, but its a fail for this little pup. really not choosing no or yes on recommend.
I put her meal (kibble) in it and she uses her brain, nose, and body to find her supper. The only thing I've found to slow down her eating. Love it! I got the large size and she hasn't been able to get her teeth around it so far.
The reviews on this aren’t good, but you never know right? The ball itself is great. Durable and entertaining. A little loud on hard surfaces, but both my dogs love it. The problem: The two holes are about the size of a quarter so kibble, Dingo sticks, etc are going to fall right out. So, I put Cheetos Puffs in them. They are just big enough to not fall out but keep the dogs coming back for more. If you buy this, just know you’ll have to be creative with what you put in it.
My dog loves this puzzle! He figured this out in no time. He loves following the ball around collecting the treats and usually empties it completely before the ball goes missing. Which is the only drawback. It gets lost behind & under stuff all the time. It always turns back up for the fun to start back over again. I highly recommend this toy for your curious younger or older dog. Mine just turned 15 and has cataracts!
The ball has not been destroyed by my 65lb lab/pit mix which is a positive. But it’s so hard my dog can’t pick it up like other dispensing toys, and so so so loud as it rolls and bumps into things that it gets my dog super worked up. My neighbor downstairs has also complained about the noise it makes as it rolls around. I put it away bc it causes too much of a headache. Maybe better for outdoors or fully carpeted floors?
This ball kept puppy so busy. Filled with treats and cereal so he did not get too much. Also used a few treats a bit larger than hole just to challenge him. It is great fun
My dog and a visiting dog really like this one. Treats fit in easy and not overly hard for the dogs
Of my two dogs, one is a genius with puzzle toys and the other one… isn’t. The former tackles this ball with enthusiasm, sending it flying around the house and increasing its entertainment value. The latter can’t get a good grasp on the round surface without it rolling away, so he’s able to enjoy it without resorting to his preferred technique of chewing the plastic. As a bonus, it’s even popular with the cat. I’d highly recommend this toy for anyone looking for a new pet puzzle.
Our dog absolutely loves this toy already, we just got the box. But so does our 2 year old. She loves filling the ball up for him. Perfect purchase
Great to add low calorie treats to or even kibble! Great way to engage your pups! Two seniors and one puppy love it!
