Description

Who says learning can't be fun? Nina Ottosson teamed up with Outward Hound to create the Dog Worker Composite Puzzle. This toy is designed to stimulate your pup's brain and allow him to have a blast at the same time! This unique, interactive toy provides hours of fun every time your dog plays with it. Just hide treats in each compartment and watch as your dog slides around the built-in pieces to find them. Each piece is designed to stay in place while the durable construction helps to keep this toy intact, even after your dog plays again and again. Spin the top to open and close the tracks, move the blocks to unlock the flippers and rotate the flippers to expose the treats. Featuring multiple compartments, there are plenty of spaces to hide treats and endless ways to find rewards.

Key Benefits
  • Exercises your pup’s brain and motor skills through delicious, playtime fun!
  • Designed with a unique composite material that looks like real wood but has the benefits of wood and plastic.
  • All the little pieces are carefully built into the base to help keep your pup safe as he plays.
  • Place your dog’s favorite treats in the compartments, rotate the flippers to cover tracks and lock the rotating top. Put the toy on the floor and watch your furry friend work for his rewards.
  • Encourages plenty of interactive play—teach your dog how to use the puzzle and help guide him to victory!

    all around an awesome buy!

So, I’m pretty certain my dog is a genius. He’s a 7mo old English Shepherd and I bought this for 2 reasons. 1.) Mental stimulation is just as important, if not more important, than physical exercise. 2.) All the other puzzles I bought for him were too easy and this one has multiple reviews of being too hard. I thought, gee, this sounds perfect! My dog has done it maybe 4 times now, and he gets in done in less than 3 min. In no time he figured out how to spin the middle, which seems to be a common complaint amongst owners as too hard. Well- I legit must have a genius on my hands because ever time he does this, he gets faster. I’m convinced he’ll have it done in 1 min soon. The puzzles is So, I’m pretty certain my dog is a genius. The puzzles is made of good quality material and is sturdy. While the grips hold it down well, I still have to hold it so as my pup uses his paw to spin the middle it doesn’t flop over. I highly recommend! … more

Takes a long time to set up compared to the first 2 levels

    By on

This is a level 3 toy. My dog loves the level 2 toy and can get all the treats out in under a minute (I haven't timed him, but it is too easy!) I thought this would be a great addition, but with having it for a month and trying to get him to figure out the spinner in the middle, we have been very unsuccessful. It takes a long time for myself to load it up as well. I gave it 2 stars because I like to color (it does not look bad in the living room), no pieces have popped off, and it still looks brand new with my little dog trying to chew the treats out from under the spinner. Maybe it will work for your dog, but it did not for mine. My dog is 17 lbs for reference.

    Fun and tough puzzle

    By on

Much harder than the easier levels given the center dial. If pup doesn't play with it for a while, she definitely forgets and need to be reminded again how to do it. Keeps dinner time entertained!

It's alright. Dogs MUST be watched!!

    By on

Our 3 month old golden retriever puppy doesn't really know what's going on with this toy. He spent a lot of time pawing at it and had a hard time getting food out of the tiny pockets when he finally found one. We got this toy to entertain him and give us some free time but you MUST watch your dog the entire time they play with this toy! The flippers come out pretty easily and the whole thing is made with a soft plastic. Our puppy ran off with one of the flippers and immediately destroyed it. I think it would be worth trying for a very small, non-destructive dog.

    Good pup entertainment

I am surprised at how much my pup loves this. It'll keep her busy for about a half hour. At 6mos old she has chewed on it a bit, but everything still works perfectly. Very happy with this purchase.

    Fun puzzle for dog

    By on

I got this toy for my 2 small dogs and they enjoy playing with it. It was a little tricky at first but they finally figured it out eventually. They've played with it for at least a few days now and still haven't figured out all various ways you can hide treats, so I'm glad that it is still a challenge for them.

    Love this product!

My pup is super smart and on a level two toy, figured it out immediately. This level three toy is great. Very interactive and my pup has not figured it out in its entirety yet. Wonderful buy!

    Too tough for my dog

    By on

I can't believe it, but my dog apparently has no aptitude, or perhaps desire, to work at the center dial of this toy. She is a very smart dog, but this type of toy just isn't to her liking. She got the small dials that she could push with her nose, but just isn't able/choosing to use her paws on the dial. I will continue to look for a challenging toy she will work on.

    Well Made Sturdy Product

    By on

Bought this for our 4 month old Lab. The puzzle exceeded our expectations. It is bigger than expected and is durable!! Has been able to withstand the biting, chewing and clawing our pup puts it through and has not shown any signs of wear and tear. Purchased this one mainly because it does not have removeable parts. With a mouthy Lab where everything goes into her mouth, I was concerned she would run off with the removeable parts and not play with the puzzle or worse yet, choke on the loose pieces. The puzzle is challenging enough to keep her entertained but not so much as to cause frustration.
