    Love Outward Hound Puzzles

    I love this puzzle. We started with the easy brick puzzle and then progressed to this. I have a lab that just turned one. The first time I gave it to him I did not lock the handles in, that way he could get an idea of the puzzle without becoming frustrated. The first time I gave it to him I did not lock the handles in, that way he could get an idea of the puzzle without becoming frustrated. He LOVES this puzzle and gets intense working the pieces around to find the treats. I always supervise when I give him the puzzle, because once the treats are gone, or if he gets one of the handles out, he will try to chew them. But once he’s done with the puzzle I pick it right up to wash it. It’s great mental stimulation for a rainy day or just a day when my boy seems to be a little more antsy than usual. … more

    Not recommended if you have a Malinois

    Unlike other Ottosson dog puzzles that are so successful, this one is not good for the Malinois chewing drives. We have a gentle Malinois, yet it took her less than 10 minutes to completely destroy this toy - cracks, chew marks, broken handles - as we tried to teach her how to use it in an interactive Unlike other Ottosson dog puzzles that are so successful, this one is not good for the Malinois chewing drives. This did not happen with all other Ottosson toys. When we sent the Ottosson manufacturer the photos they blamed us, rather than blaming the inexpensive plastic used for this toy. … more
