    Good beginner puzzle

I got this puzzle feeder and the Dog Casino for my 5 month old pit mix. She's played with Kong toys before but this was her first experience with a puzzle like this. I'm very happy with the quality of the puzzle, as it seems very sturdy and well-made. It was challenging for her without being frustrating, and it kept her busy and calm for a few minutes. I like how you can adjust the difficulty, so when she gets bored I can start using the locking mechanic. I wouldn't leave this sitting around if she were a big chewer, though. Bad Design

I like the idea of the puzzle but my dog primarily uses his paws not so much his nose to move the pieces and the white pulleys on the end comes unlocked way to easy so even if I unlock them so the pieces move not much effort is required and he accidentally locks them causing the pieces to not move so I like the idea of the puzzle but my dog primarily uses his paws not so much his nose to move the pieces and the white pulleys on the end comes unlocked way to easy so even if I unlock them so the pieces move not much effort is required and he accidentally locks them causing the pieces to not move so he isn't getting the chance to learn the toy. I will say it's sturdy my 80lb German Shepherd really paws at it and it holds up well. This toy is meant to be done with your dog so him being a heavy chewer doesn't matter as dogs shouldn't be left alone with the toy. If the white pieces locked tighter or came all the way out to start as easy as possible so he could learn what they mean I'd rate a 5. Not a bad toy just not the best design in my opinion. … more
