Dogs love to explore and problem solve and will use their noses and paws as tools. Each Nina Ottoson puzzle toy game is designed with your dog’s natural behaviors, senses and safety in mind.
Reduce Unwanted Behaviors
Setting your dog to work on a puzzle or game helps focus his attention and energy. This mental redirection can help reduce boredom, anxiety and destructive behaviors, too. Try using puzzle toys to distract your dog from fireworks, thunderstorms and other stressful situations.
Four Levels of Play

I'm very impressed with the quality of the Outward Hound products. I actually purchased this for my cats. I've heard that cats also like puzzles. I guess my cats aren't the sharpest tools in the shed because they couldn't figure it out and I'll be returning it. Thank goodness Chewy has such a good returns policy.

dangerous wooden pegs
my dogs just wanted to chew on the pegs once they removed them from the base. the pegs are wood. if they had been allowed to chew on the wood pegs, they may have swallowed splinters, gotten splinters in their tongue or in between teeth or etc.

good in theory
My 1 year old cockapoo figured out this “puzzle” in 3 seconds. Her first puzzle but she also ruined the pieces after one use. The pegs (or whatever it’s called) aren’t durable material

Love this!
Our dog loves this. At first I thought he wasn't going to figure it out because he kept pawing the pegs and that doesn't knock them over. He got frustrated so I put it up. He has a ball we put treats in that he loves and he paws that to get the treats out the hole. Later that day he figured out to use his mouth to pull the peg up in about 15 minutes, no frustration this time. He loves this! He's a 20 lb poodle/iggy mix,

LOVED
I’ve been considering puzzles for my dogs for a while now. I finally decided to buy this one, and it was such a fun night! All three of my dogs were able to figure it out! I have a lab, a grey hound, and a chihuahua (the smaller mouth size did have a struggle). They each figured it out in a day, and now we have gotten the second puzzle in this series! Love love love this!

Fun Game To Entertain
We own a 1 1/2 year old Chinese Crested Powderpuff. Extremely intelligent dog. Loves to fetch things. First time I put treats under wooden pegs, our dog ignored the treats and just fetched me all the pegs off the board. Now she looks for treats and looks forward to playing this game. Our 11 pound pup can easily remove these pegs.

easy intro
This is super easy puzzle that my lab figured out in less than a minute. I’d think this could be better for puppies or dogs that might think slower.

1st Time Buying and Obsessed!
Bought this due to our new 8Week old Pup being extremely brilliant and bored of normal toys and chews quickly. I started with level 1 because I had her try a sniffle mat and she could care less it was not stimulating enough for her. I thought it was just because it was “too hard” but dang I was wrong, she figured this one out in 10 SECONDS! After pulling all the tubes out she is Mentally Drained and Finally passed out ( THIS in general is a HUGE FRICKEN WIN for us because she is the most RESTLESS puppy I have ever seen or owned and physical exercise is not enough to get her to sleep without screaming for 20minutes to an 1hr, and we can not even crate her for the life of us and let her cry it out because we live in a townhome). With this giving her the Mental stimulation she needs she has been in her crate for 1.5 hours and has not even made a peep!!
From Delirious exhausted Dog mom I am saying THANK YOU and recommend this to everyone especially if you are renting and want to ensure you are establishing positive crate training without the worry of noise complaints or worse eviction!
Picture showing it being Filled up again for when she wakes up and after potty time!

Great toy, keeps him calm
This was great for my Frenchie. He learned really fast on how to get the treats. He takes each one out and set to the side to get his treat.
