Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.

Designed well, description is accurate. Lights are superb, disc flies very well, has on/off switch and replaceable batteries. NOT A CHEW TOY so take it away from pup when not playing fetch.
Our dogs love to play frisbee day and night. These are the toughest I’ve found so far and I keep buying more of them as they wear out or lose the battery holder. Our dogs eventually remove and lose the piece that holds the battery in. This would be 5 stars if that one piece screwed into the flyer or was harder for the dogs to remove. If just used for exercise and fetch these are great. So much fun at night.
The disc should only be used under close supervision. The cover holding the light and the battery came off after several throws in the yard. We had a stressful time until we were able to recover the batteries and knew the dog had not swallowed them. The concept of the toy is great and the first few throws were fun playing Frisbee in the dark. If the cover screwed on instead of snapping on, it would be a fun toy. Chewy is wonderful and issued a refund immediately!
We were super excited for this Frisbee to play more at night. Unfortunately we didn't get to even try it outside because our dog played with it as soon as we opened it. The plastic disc that protects the light-up mechanism quickly became our dog's focus. She nawed on it making it loose. The first toss we gave the frizbee allowed the disc to pop off as with the light. Super bummed.
On the first throw, our 55-pound cur mix girl ran and caught it, and promptly tore off the workings before my husband could get to her. Chewy is great about their guarantee, though, which is why I'm a loyal customer.
It seemed well made. But the slightest motion and it turns itself off. Throwing it turns it off. What is the point of a light up frisbee that won’t stay lit?
Don’t waste your money on this!! I was super excited to use at night. However it never worked. The original battery was already dead or broke. So i changed with new one but It didn’t work at all! Very disappointed.
Baron loved playing with it at night. The disk flies really nice and is fairly durable. Generally it held up well, but Baron thinks flying disks are like tortillas, you wrap the disk around a stick or log and carry that around. Eventually, he punched a hole in the exact center where the light is located. That allowed moisture to get to the electronics and shorted them out. I will buy another because with fewer hours of daylight the lighted disk is great in the dark.
I don't know why there aren't more toys like this for winter evening play! This toy is ready to see, rechargeable, flies well and is our pups obsession. The only drawback is that off it lands on its edge end it is hard for her to pick up on hard surfaces so we keep to the grass.
I loved this the first few times we used it. But the piece that covers the batteries came off while throwing it and is now lost. No longer a glowing toy, which is a bummer since it gets dark around 5 now.
