Always wash your hands thoroughly after handling used cat litter, as cat feces may contain Toxoplasma gondii—a parasite that can cause toxoplasmosis. Pregnant or nursing women, as well as children and anyone with a weakened immune system, should avoid handling.
Soy Bean Dregs, Pea Dregs, Corn Starch, Activated Carbon.
Add approximately 4 inches of Noba Soy cat litter to a clean, dry litter box (this allows your cats to dig and cover their waste naturally). Scoop out waste daily, using a curved, slotted litter scoop. Throw away, flush or compost waste.
For transition from clay litter, it is suggested to either add a second litter box with Noba Soy during the transition or mix about 25% of clay litter with Noba Soy for 2-3 weeks. The look and feel being very similar to clay litter, the transitions should be very quick in most cases.
This was recommended to us due to all the other brands of tofu type litters being out of stock. It does not compare to any of the others we tried, but it is still better than dealing with clay or crystal litters. Hoping things start coming back into stock soon.
Don't put this in your third, fourth, or fifth slot. The dust is incredible, I've used soy litters for almost 4 years and none of them ever dust like this might as well be clay. In terms of odor control, it is only slightly better than clay. We have 2 cats and 2 boxes and scoop every other day. The odor of urine is overwhelming and lingers after 2 weeks. I've had other soy litters last almost 2 months with much less frequent scooping Super bummed tofu kitty litter club folded... Guess it's back to Worlds Best for me
My favorite tofu litter was out of stock. This one was very dusty. I will not be ordering this again.
This stuff claims to be low dust. It is just as dusty as any clay litter. If you are looking for low dust/dust free, this isn’t for you.
I have been on the hunt for a great soy based cat litter for a while. The normal brand I used nearly doubled in price and was difficult to find. This seemed like a reasonably priced option to try. It is soy based and has zero scent to it. I has AMAZING odor control. You cannot smell anything with this unlike other soy based litters. It clumps well, and scoops very easily. However, it is insanely dusty. For a 'low dust' formula, it has the most dust in any litter I have ever used (including clay). I haven't noticed if the cats track the dust since I have light colored floors, but I can definitely see it when I pour more litter in or scoop. I am not too sure about the flushable claims. I try not to flush large clumps, but the small test clumps I have tried did not seem to dissolve like I have seen other soy litters do. All in all, it is an excellent litter for the quantity and price. I will repurchase in the future.
It was very dusty, seemed a lot like a clay litter but I guess not as bad for inhaling
This litter was awful. Terrible odor control. I have two cats and use a litter robot and empty it 2-3 times a week and this smelled terrible. I have used lots of litters and this one was the worst.
Nice concept - but if you're staying away from clay litters because they are dusty and you and your cats don't want to breathe in dust, then this is not for you. Nice on all other dimensions (odor control, clumping).
I was using Tofu Kitty Flushable Litter but the brand disappeared. The other "tofu" litters are over priced. This one works the same and is a better value. I took a star off as there is some dust when pouring it and also the color of it is gray which is visually unappealing to me.
I think this litter does well w/ clumping and odor protection, but I would say it's dustier than the clay litter I had been using. I am trying to switch to a lower dust litter for respiratory reasons, but if you don't mind dust then this litter is worth a try.
