Nordic Naturals Omega-3 Pet Cats & Small Breed Dog & Cat Supplement, 2-oz bottle

while i have only had this product not quite 2 weeks - so far it has been the best omega, fish supplement for my cats (i have tried plenty and spent $$$). It has no smell. I have three cats and one has Alopecia and has for years, he is about 11 yrs old and has been on Kan Essential three seeds for a few years - its a holistic pill, while it helps giving the pill twice a day doesnt always happen and he is much worse in the winter. This omega-3 is aiding tremendously in his healing - i couldnt be happier. They get their half a cup of kibble a day (3 cats) and i mix one dropper full in there daily - my sweet little girls dandruff is getting much better too! It was recommended my cat needed some Fish Oil in his diet due some flaky dry skin. Within a week I’ve noticed improvements in his fur. It’s shiny and I don’t notice as much dandruff. I put it on top of his wet food. At first he acted like he didn’t like it but I know he’s not that picky and he was eating it later. Now he licks it off the top of his food! The oil is easy to use, it comes with an eye dropper that has measurements on the side. And I honestly don’t even notice a fishy smell with the oil! I already recommended it my sister for her cat and my parents for their dachshunds.

And in many ways he has aged gracefully but I feared that he might begin to get sore joints and not stay as active as he was as a younger cat. So I started him on this oil about 8 or 9 months ago and not only does he still move like a younger cat, he still jumps up on things but he still gets a "bee in his bonnet" and tears through the house at full speed, running up and down stairs and meows loudly. (I don't know what is up with that but he has done it his whole life.). So I can safely say that he is not creaking around like an older cat. This has such a fishy smell that my cats will not eat it even when mixed with food. When I administer it to their food if I get any on my fingers they smell for hours even after washing. I don't doubt that it is a good product, but if I can't get the cats to eat it it serves no purpose.

I've only been using this product for about a week now so I can't attest to any big changes in my cats fur/skin, etc. but I love how easy it is to use! I had an omega 3 salmon oil before that was in a pump bottle and not only did my cat not like the flavour at all, but it was very difficult to dispense. The dropper on this is way better! My cats don't even notice this is in their food!

Vet suggested an Omega 3, especially for my girl, she has a little dandruff, and the one they gave me was so hard to get them to take because they could smell it, but this one had great reviews so I decided to try it, and they don't smell it which makes it easier to give them. Been giving it to them for a couple weeks and already see improvement! My girl has less dandruff, they are more playful and jumping around! Highly recommended!

Finally found a fish oil that my 2 cats will take to! Took about 2 weeks to start to see the effects (reduced dander and now shiny coat) my only complaint is the dropper; such a pain to use! It's much easier to pour onto a measuring spoon then drop it over their food

I bought this and the glucosamine for cats supplement for my 17-year-old cat, whose hips seem a little cranky. He showed improvement within a day or two! Amazing!

Surprisingly does not smell like fish, for which I am thankful! My cat doesn't seem to mind it in their food, and while I haven't used it for a long time, I am hopeful for the benefits! 5 stars for the lack of smell and the fact that my cat doesn't mind eating it.
