Day 1 & 2: Feed 80% of your pet’s old food with 20% of the new food.

Day 3 & 4: Feed 60% of your pet’s old food with 40% of the new food.

Day 5 & 6: Feed 40% of your pet’s old food with 60% of the new food.

Day 7, 8 & 9: Feed 20% of your pet’s old food with 80% of the new food.

Day 10 & Forever: Feed 100% new food

All 6 cats love and great for a kidney disease cat too! Low in Phosphorous

    By on

So, I did EXTENSIVE research. To find the Very best brand of cat food that was lower in phosphorous for my cat with the starting of kidney disease. This food is great! All 6 of my cats LOVE it, and the ingredients are the most wholesome of any brand. I get this one and the pink bag to variate. Love them. It may seem expensive, but do a calorie by calorie comparison to your other brand. This one packs a big punch and they don't have to eat as much to get full and full of nutrients! I love it and my babies do too, meow!

    CKD cat & others love

    By on

I bought because it’s low in phosphorus. My guy insists on eating dry food. It’s expensive but everything I need for a sick cat is.

    It has great ingredients

I was hoping my gang would eat this food since it has great ingredients but nope not my finicky group. I donated it to a local rescue and was told it was a big hit. My gang is just spoiled.

    just good food

My girls love this food, all 7 of them. We tried the regular NOW dry food and they love that one too. It's good food that's grain free.

    Gary's Food

    By on

I got the fish version hoping it would improve Gary's coat. He likes his brand and is eating less because there are not as many fillers. Nice knowing that the meat products are also more healthy.

I love this stuff, but meowmy says it's too expensive

After my sisfur crossed the bridge (we had been eating prescription fud for elderly kitties, but I'm only 6!), my purrson tried four different high quality kibbles for me. I love Now Fresh Fish a lot, but meowm grumbles something about money not growing on trees (she can be kinda dumb-- of course there's no money on my cat tree, and if it was there, I'd shred it because ripping paper is fun). The only kibble I love more is Natural Balance Green Pea and Salmon, but meowm is so stingy with it, I have to beg, because she doesn't like that the first ingredient is peas, not fish. Meowm is now threatening to switch me back to Halo Holistic Wild Salmon/Whitefish Recipe Adult Dry Cat Food, which is definitely After my sisfur crossed the bridge (we had been eating prescription fud for elderly kitties, but I'm only 6!), my purrson tried four different high quality kibbles for me. To add insult to injury, meowm says I've become picky--she feeds me Weruva wet food and I refuse to eat of the ones with beef or lamb and I find the "tuna too cool" flavor offensive for no good reason. She says that I keep forgetting that there are very hungry kitties everywhere in the world that would love any of this fud, and I should be less spoiled. I'm not sure meowm knows what spoiled is, because I'm very fresh! … more

    Lewis and Clark love this!

I took a sample of this and my cats loved it! Like most kitties mine are very very fussy. And they need to have their food switched up every so often. They really chowed this down!

    Goodstuff!

    By on

Cats seem to love it! It seems to have low phosphorus and matches the other nutritional values of the Hills Prescription K/D food but without all the bizarre fillers. I have one cat on the cusp of needing special kidney diet food so I thought I would try this.

    Cat approves

My cat lost interest in Now Fresh Grain-Free Adult Recipe Dry Cat Food, so I wasn't sure whether he's like this. So far he seems to like it as much as his favorites.
