It’s important to slowly transition your pet to a new food so their system has a chance to adapt to the change. The transition period should be at minimum, ten days and could take upwards of two weeks, depending on your pet’s sensitivity to change:
Day 1 & 2: Feed 80% of your pet’s old food with 20% of the new food.
Day 3 & 4: Feed 60% of your pet’s old food with 40% of the new food.
Day 5 & 6: Feed 40% of your pet’s old food with 60% of the new food.
Day 7, 8 & 9: Feed 20% of your pet’s old food with 80% of the new food.
Day 10 & Forever: Feed 100% new food
Bought this for my new pup he's very finicky. So I thought this would be a good fit for him because he loves the dry food. He turned his nose up at it and walked away. It's like mush I guess he doesn't like the consistence. I'm sure the food probably tastes ok but apparently, he did think so lol
I have a four year old terrier mix who is the fussiest eater in our family! I have been working with him since he arrived as a 3 month old puppy to try to find the best nutrition for him. I have ordered from a wide variety of high-end products to please his puppy palate to no avail. Finally I began preparing meals for him from scratch using only human grade food but mixed with some equally high-end commercial dog foods so that he would get the nutritional additives that are in such commercial products. While he does eat this food and most of the time seems to enjoy it, still I find that he does so without enthusiasm. Then I tried NOW. What a difference! He approached his dish as he always does with some skepticism but once he smelled and tasted he wolfed it down and asked for more! And this has kept up consistently for some time now.I could not be more pleased! I know this is a Canadian product and as a (transplanted) Canadian myself, I am extra happy with this product. If you have a fussy eater, give this a try! I suspect you will be as delighted with it as my little Geo and I are!
This product has great ingredients but my pooches would not touch it. They are used to human-grade fresh food and typically gobble it right up but this brand - they wouldn't even go near the bowl.
I am sure this is a good quality and convenient product but my very picky schnoodle won’t eat it.
My dog loves it! Usually get the chicken but was out of stock so went with the turkey. A little smelly and stewy but my dog loves it!!
This is the second product I have bought from this manufacture because I was really impressed the first time. However the first time was lamb but they were sold out, so turkey stew it was. My dog is not too picky, but she will refuse to eat certain brand foods, this she inhales so that's a positive. For me visually, it looks like slop with a few peas thrown in. With the lamb, you could see the difference in the meat and different vegetables. So while I prefer the lamb, this was a decent second choice.
Sebastian, our Great Pyrenees, is a very picky eater. Liked this food very much!!!!
I mixed in the wet dog food with the dry dog food and the dogs went crazy over this dog food. Every time I'm about to feed them and they know I have the container in my hand the puppy starts jumping while the other two just stare at me and wait patiently with their eyes opened wide.
Need to figure out how to fill an order accurately at chewy
I pair this with the Now senior dry food and my dog always finishes her food.
