Expensive considering all the fillers
By SusieQPDX on May 17, 2020
This has the same questionable thickeners as the cheaper brands and includes pea protein...legumes are hard for people to digest and are forbidden for digestive/inflammatory issues. How many cats do you know that would seek out peas and beans?

Disappointed
By CatMamax7 on Mar 27, 2020 Top 100 Contributor
I was excited to try this cat food for my 6 cats. They normally go crazy over salmon. Not this time. A couple of the cats ate some of it, but most of them walked away. It was also difficult to get it out of the container. The expiration date is only a few months so it doesn't have a very long shelf life like canned food does. I wouldn't buy it again. I gave it 2 stars because it's probably a good quality food, but it doesn't matter if the cats won't eat it.

Sadly she won’t eat it

She likes the Salmon pâté in the can but she has not been willing to eat this. I also find the box a little sloppy.

Cat approves, but packaging needs improvement
By Teasister on Mar 21, 2019
My cat likes the food, knew he would, as salmon is his fave and I’m transitioning him from an all dry diet to wet food in the morning and dry the rest of the day. He has a history of digestive issues with any new food, yet no problems with this food at all (he does get 1 tsp of canned pumpkin daily to help)...however, only gave this 4 stars because the packaging needs work. It’s nice there is no tin can, and that’s environmentally conscious, but the “juice box” shaped packaging makes it extremely messy and quite a bit of the food gets wasted because it’s too difficult to get it all out from the box. I tried a long handles spoon, a fork, a knife and a spatula. Nothing works well. I tried a long handles spoon, a fork, a knife and a spatula. Nothing works well. If the box opened on the adjacent side so it was wide and shallow, that would be better or if they switched to a round shallow wide opening similar to a traditional small can, it would be easier to access the contents. I am not sure if I will continue with this food or switch due to the messiness of the feeding from this tall box. … more

Cats are not really into this food. Some will take a bite or two but that’s about it

Cats Love It!
By Tina on Jul 17, 2018
I tried this food because of the quality of the ingredients listed on it. It is a bit pricey, but I believe when well nourished, our pets give us less vet expenses. My 3 cats loved it! So besides the price, the other aspect that I think the company needs to work at is the packaging. It is hard to reach all of the little corners in the bottom of the box. Which it is a bit annoying because you do not want to waste any bit of something expensive. Another aspect is that cans are usually easier to be recycled in most municipalities. Tetrapack boxes are recycled in particular places. Here in NYC they are. But the company must be aware of this type of impact they are generating in the planet.

Cat licked it right up!
By bhumane on Jun 6, 2018
I have a pretty picky senior cat and she licked this right up. I gave it to another one of my cats and she licked it up too. I just wish it wasn't so expensive!
