Transition Instructions

When first introducing your pet to Nulo, werecommend slowly transitioning over the course of 5 to 7 days to reduce the risk of digestive upset that can occur with a rapid change in diet.We recommend portioning 25% of the new food on the first day mixed with 75% of the former food. Over the course of several days, gradually increase this ratio until you are feeding 100% of the new food. This will allow your pet's digestive system time to adjust to any new ingredients and will help to ensure a smooth transition. Mixing up proteins can be a great way to provide variety to your pet's diet. Once your pet has transitioned to the Nulo platform, rotating between recipes is generally seamless!

My dog appears to love it so far!

    By on

I was recommended this food by my groomer who is very into pet nutrition and holistic remedies. She likes this particular food because of the ingredient list, and recommended it to my dog who was struggling with yeast in his ears (we recently moved to a very humid climate). The goal is to have more protein in his diet and less carbs because the carbs feed the yeast. We just started using this food 2 weeks ago and so far he loves it - he ate it up the first time I gave it to him and he can be somewhat picky so I was relieved to see he likes it. Apparently too, he'll lose a little weight as this high protein diet will require less portion size and keep him fuller longer, and overall just improve I was recommended this food by my groomer who is very into pet nutrition and holistic remedies. Great product!

Our dogs had become unable to keep their old food down and a local pet store recommended this brand and it has worked like a charm! No more vomiting and the probiotics in the food are great for their digestion. Highly recommend.

    I Highly recommend Nulo

    By on

My 2 Year old GS has suffered so much with food sensitivity. I had tried Nulo chicken/sweet potatoes but did not help- I researched best foods for food allergy/sensitivity and Nulo Limited Ingredients was top of the list. Slowly introduced and he is tolerating better than I expected.

    Good transition dry food

    By on

We transitioned our puppy Airedale from raw diet to dry (primarily due to cost) and had a hard time finding a dry food that didn't cause him GI troubles. Our dog walker recommended Nulo after a few unsuccessful tries with Orijen and our pups has been eating Nulo ever since! We also liked that Nulo is made in Austin, Texas. We may transition him to a different brand at some point (we don't particularly like preservatives being high on the ingredient list), but overall this has been a good transition food!

    Best Food for my Frenchie

    By on

I have two Frenchies with terrible food allergies. We’ve tried numerous foods from human grade to homemade and NOTHING has cleared up their coat like this food. They are picky eaters and both love it. So thankful I finally found something that works.

It’s nice and healthy without being too rich and fatty. My puppy loves it and I love it since it helps with his digestive problems. Great puppy food.

    Satisfied Customer!

    By on

We tried 4 other types of food before finding one that didn't make our Indigo's allergies flare up, while still appealing to her. She likes it and it doesn't make her itch or make her sick! My local pet store stopped carrying this Limited Ingredient recipe. So glad we found Chewy.com. Good customer service, good prices and fast delivery!!! My only wish is that Nulo would try this in a softer kibble also.
