    My cats like this

By Theresa on Jan 10, 2019

I have three cats and they all like this food. It's their second pick out of all the other varieties so I gave it 4 stars.

    Something Has Changed

By HappyCamper on Nov 26, 2018

My kitties used to regularly enjoy this as an option on their food rotation. But they won't even touch it anymore...they sniff it and walk away. Something seems to have changed in the recipe.

A miss for my cats on flavor

    By on

My cats have loved every flavour of Nulo so far, but this one they wouldn't touch. Still excellent quality and ingredients, but both of them turned up their noses at it. Ah well! We'll stick to what they love.

Affordable, grain free, high quality wet cat food

First of all, I truly believe that those considering this or any pet food should take others' reports of whether their pet enjoyed the product or not with a ~large~ grain of salt. It may go without saying, but all pets have different tastes and many also happen to be particularly picky eaters. With that said... I've done a TON a research on cat food, mostly inspired by my not-so-little Tinkerbell's sensitive gut. Several trips to the vet later, we're still not exactly sure what's causing it, but I've been doing my best to mitigate it via diet. Nulo canned cat foods are one of the only lines that are: - Pates - Grain free - Carrageenan free - High protein / low carb - Made of high quality ingredients - Don't contain by-products (though based on my research, I personally believe that the feeding of by-products poses no health risks and may even be desirable, as long as they are derived from quality sources) - Relatively affordable, as the premium brands go Tink will eat literally anything (probably part of her gut issue) and scarfed this down without hesitation. Her sister Navi is a pickier eater and also enjoyed it, though less so than Tink. Within only several days of feeding Nulo wet foods, my fairies' coats were not just noticeably softer & shinier, but significantly softer & shinier. No digestive issues of note and the fur babies seem extra happy, playful, and energetic. So if you have a pate obsessed kitty and feeding high quality food is important to you, this is about as good as it gets in the high, but not quite boutique, class of wet food. … more

    So far so good

I recently adopted a kitten who was only given Science Diet (a minced chicken wet food and a kitten dry food) but I wanted to broaden her dietary horizons, eliminate grains and give her food that has no or few fish products so her breath and poos weren't bad smelling. I saw the grain free lamb option and thought I would give it a try though I really wanted a kitten only food that was not chicken as that is mostly what there is (or without fish - hard to come by). I put the old food and the new food in a bowl (didn't mix it) and she ate the lamb without a worry. We just finished the first can but I have high hopes. I can't wait till she's older so she can have a better variety of grain free food I recently adopted a kitten who was only given Science Diet (a minced chicken wet food and a kitten dry food) but I wanted to broaden her dietary horizons, eliminate grains and give her food that has no or few fish products so her breath and poos weren't bad smelling.
