FAQ

Where is Nummy Tum Tum made?

Nummy Tum Tum uses pure and healthy ingredients from the USA. Our home state is Oregon, and we use local producers whenever possible.

How long does it last once it's been opened?

We recommend that you use the product within 3 days after opening.

Can you freeze it?

Yes! We suggest that you portion it out into individual servings with an ice cube tray. Once frozen, transfer to an airtight bag or container for up to 3 months. Freezing causes the product to separate and/or appear watery when defrosted. If this happens, just reheat the pumpkin.

Why should I include vitamins & supplements in my pet's diet?

Most commercial pet foods include baseline vitamins and nutrients, but some may not have the adequate amount to suit your pet's exact health needs. Like in humans, vitamins and supplements can help support your pet's long-term health, regulating everything from digestion to muscle growth. Consult your veterinarian to determine the best vitamins and supplements for your furry friend.

How often should I give this supplement to my pet?

It is recommended to give the suggested dosage based off your pet's weight. Please refer to the Feeding Instructions tab and consult with your veterinarian for more information.

Is this supplement safe to use with the medication my pet is currently taking?

If your pet has a medical condition and is taking other medication, we recommend consulting with your veterinarian to ensure that this supplement is safe to use.

My pet is allergic to certain ingredients, will this product be safe to use?

For a complete list of ingredients, click on the 'Nutritional Info' tab, next to the 'Description' tab, just under the product photos. If you are unsure about the safety of this product for your pet, we recommend consulting with your veterinarian.

A few of the cans had holes in them

    By on

There was litterally black clumps in the food because there was a tiny hole on the top and the cans were all wet and dented. I didnt notice they were rotton until my dogs second serving and there was litterally black clumps in it. Hope my dog is okay after eating it. Noticed a few cans were like that so I had to toss them. Pretty disgusting

    Sweet product

My dog Ginger loves this in her food. It serves a great source of fiber and mixed in with her nuggets & wet food, it goes a long way.

    Not for Cats

    By on

Honestly, my cats eat it. However cats have a more difficult time digesting this than dogs do. Should come in smaller sized cans due to it not being highly recommended for cats to eat in large quantities over a short period of time. (3 days in the fridge max- then I have to toss it.)

My little man just gobble this up. I knew he like yams and was unsure though if he would like. I took a chance and glad I did.

    Not what I thought

    By on

This is more like a soup. Did not anticipate. Thought it would have more content, like canned dog food. I am sure all ingredients as advertised, just not what I expected.

    Good stuff

    By on

My dogs love this stuff. I mix a spoonful in with their food morning and night and they come to me when they're done wanting me to just give them a little spoonful of just this. It's their treat for finishing all their food, lol!

    Fluffy addition

    By on

When I first got a can of this last fall I felt silly buying it when sweet potatoes were on sale everywhere. However it makes a fluffy easy to add supplement for dog food and is not as dense as some of the sweet potato I have cooked in the past.I only wish it came in smaller packets like some of the pumpkin products do.

    Too Soupy For Bella

    By on

Not what I expected. Castor and Pollux stopped making theirs. So I purchased this as a substitute. The consistency is thin and soupy. Will be switching my dogs diet in the New Year.

I could feed this to my child, of course I never would Just a matter of speech. It's pure wholesome goodness my dog TANK loves it . I mix a third of the can in his dry Merrick puppy food. He loves it. He's a year old now black lab 90lbs. Some times I'll warm it up in a bowl then mix it in. You can't go wrong. Nothing artificial in it at all.
