Worth a try for your nervous cat

    By on

I have used these collars for years, especially in conjunction with room sprays and/or diffusers. Personally, it seems they have varying degrees of success with each individual cat. They don't work well for me with my inappropriate urinator but my older "you're going to steal my food" kitty, relaxed a TON and was able to eat her meals without stressing. I recommend them to friends when they either get a new cat or foster, as a first step, if they have behavior issues in their household. Not a sure fire fix but an easy tool to have on hand.

The smell freaked out both of my cats-couldn't use

    By on

As soon as I opened the package and before I could even put it on my male amorous (neutered) cat-he took off to the other room. So I decided to try it on the spayed female ( he has been trying to mate with and biting her neck as she is screaming in protest). She is more layed back usually so thought it would be easy to put the collar on her. I did manage to get it on her but it is so stiff it is very difficult to adjust, etc. and in the process she got a good whiff of it and SHE freaked out! I actually had to cut it off because she was struggling so much to try to get away from the smell of it. Both collars went in the trash.

don’t waste your money—it doesn’t work at all

    By on

I was so excited to try this collar on my male cat who likes to pick on my older female relentlessly...I was impressed by SOME of the reviews and decided to give this collar a try. I’ve had it for 4 days now and I’ve noticed little to no difference. He still tries to attack/mount her. What a waste of money. Don’t even bother, this collar is garbage.

    Working Great for our Cats

    By on

Our male and female cats are three years old and we’ve had them since they were kittens. Over the past year we’ve had a lot of changes such as moving and adding a dog to our family. It has stressed my male cat stressed. He seemed fine for a while, but started lashing out at his sister around Christmas. I’ve tried diffusers, which worked for a while, but weren’t helping with these new issues. I got each cat one of these collars about two weeks ago. Both cats have become more cuddly. My male cat has hissed once or twice at his sister but no more cat fights so far. Just now my dog tried to play with my cat. Usually she hisses and bats at him. My one concern was that these collars don’t have an easy break away clasp. Our cats are indoor cats so there’s not a lot for them to get stuck on. I also made the collars loose enough so they could slip off of the cats got stuck so I don’t think it will be an issue. Have I mentioned how cuddly my cats have been?! It’s worth mentioning twice! They haven’t been this affectionate since before the move over a year ago. I am so happy with these collars. … more

no more peeing in the house

    By on

Just Wow! No more peeing in the house for both my females. And my scaredy-cat comes out to play now. I tried just the diffusers before. They helped to lessen the peeing but not completely. I still have the diffusers. Not sure if it’s the collars alone working or the combination of having both. Either way, I’m happy!!!

WOW, what a difference in behavior!

    By on

We have multiple cats. A few years ago a young female showed up at our house and adopted us, we had her spade. Our neutered male and her fought frequently over the past year. The male began spraying in the house marking his turf. We put these collars on both. Within a week the fighting is almost none existent and spraying has been reduced by 75%. I ordered more of the collars so replacements are ready at the 30 day expiration of the worn collars.

    I wish they worked..

I have 2 cats. One is very anxious and scared if everything and the other is just wild and crazy. They do not like each other and has caused a lot of anxiety with my already anxious cat who will then urinate on everything because she's so stressed and the other is a bully. I got one collar for each cat thinking it would calm them down. This is not the case, my crazy cat has shown no difference with this collar on and my anxious Kitty who would cry a lot still does it. When they interact it has improved SLIGHTLY, like one doesn't pee on everything but I still can't keep them in the same room for long before she is being bullied. Not enough difference to warrant another purchase. I will not buy I have 2 cats. One is very anxious and scared if everything and the other is just wild and crazy. Works, but didn't last

    By on

For the first 5 days I could tell a dramatic difference in the behavior and demeanor with the two kitties I purchased these for. After that it seemed to wear off at the same time on both. If it lasted longer, I would have repurchased every month.

    Good collar

    By on

It takes a month or 2 to see the effects. 3 days does not cut it. Before you judge and say it is garbage you need to read about them.

    Impressed with this collar

    By on

Wow, this collar has transformed a pretty high anxiety cat into a calm sweet girl. She is targeted by our other cats and bullied, so she has been on extra high alert basically since the day we adopted her, and she has to be separated from the other cats during the day when we aren’t home. We tried the plug in pheromone diffusers with no luck, she was still very skittish and anxious. This product however, has made a noticible positive impact on her behavior/comfort levels in our home. I would purchase one for each of our cats if this were a breakaway collar, but I feel it’s too risky since they are quite active and could get caught on something.
