Pets may not get all the nutrients they need from their food alone. With Cobalequin Chewable Tablets from Nutramax, you can give your pet the vitamin boost he needs. Vitamin B12—or Cobalamin—deficiency is especially common in animals with pancreatic issues and can cause symptoms like weight loss, lethargy and confusion. This oral supplement can help to increase concentrations of B12 in cats and small dogs, without the need for additional injections. Best of all, it comes in an easy-to-feed, tasty tablet and can be used for long-term treatment—just make sure you talk to your veterinarian.

Key Benefits
  • Features an oral cobalamin supplement, so you can help treat your dog's insufficiency.
  • Yummy chewables are easy to feed, especially compared to pills and powders.
  • May help you supplement your pet without needing additional injections.
  • Part of a comprehensive treatment plan for dogs and cats low in B12.
  • Can be used long-term, with guidance from your veterinarian.

For animal use only. Keep out of reach of children.

    Helping my kitty with IBD

By Aset on Nov 20, 2021

I think this is really helping my kitty with IBD. I have tried everything, and this is the only thing that has slowed down his dribbling. I've only been using it about two weeks, so not sure about long term effects. He does not take it readily, so I have to put it in his mouth where he usually tries to spit it back out. Once wet, it falls apart, so I try to get it back in his mouth quick. He usually swallows it the second time without too much fuss. It's easier than giving shots.

My older cat has a deficiency of B12 and the vet ordered these. But that are less expensive from Chewy. He loves the taste and eats them like treats. You

Our old guy has disdained any and every chewable until we introduced Cobalequin B 12! He loves them, he had gobbled up his daily each morning for 47 days. The chewable spares him and us twice a month visits to the vet for shots that are both costly and painful. I donate all the money saved to local shelters. AND the best part is that he's doing great on them. Ask your vet if this is right for your pet.

    Good Product

By Pond on Oct 7, 2021

Our pups veterinarian suggested we start Cobalequin after she was treated for an illness and now that she has recovered (thank God) we continued administering every other day. They are chicken flavored and she thinks they are treats!

    Easiest Pill Ever!

    By Stormy13 on Jul 26, 2021

My 13 yr old cat began having digestive issues a couple years ago and Vet recommended this product. I was concerned it would be a problem to get my cat to eat but he loves it! It must taste good because he spits out all other pills. It dissolves easily when wet so I have to carefully add it to his food.

1 stage 2 ckd kitty eats like a treat/ the other stage 1 refuses all ways

    By onlyme on May 28, 2021 top250Contributor

vet suggested for newly diagnosed kitty with stage 2 ckd.,other stage 1. half the price on chewy. (even though it is not methyl version I see recommended in kidney group. surprised he eats it like a treat., gobbles it right up. not sure if this is what increased his appetite of the cerenia meds kicked in. will continue for maintenance on CKD kidney problem kitty. sadly other ckd kitty stage 1 refuses to eat this as a treat or sprinkled on food. would be hard to handpill because of triangle shape could get stuck

Hard as a rock - not chewable

By Cimbadeo on May 25, 2021

Hard small pill. My senior cat spit it back out twice whole, second time it was concealed in a Salmon (flavor she likes) pill pocket. She ate the pill pocket :) Pill is too hard to break into pieces by hand and a pill splitter requires multiple cuts to crush to powder. My other two cats also would not go near this pill. Sorry I wasted my money as I expected palatable, soft and chewable.

    Fussy Cat Enjoys

By Fred on May 12, 2021

My cat was recently diagnosed with IBD & hyperthyroidism. I have been giving him B12 shots weekly & the last day or 2, he seems to loose the pep in his step. My vet suggested these to help supplement w/ injections. I've only been giving him for a couple of days, but I have noticed since taking them, he's not as up to playing, but I'm unsure if these are the culprit. I will say, however, he's a tough sell & he enjoys them.

My senior finicky cat does NOT take medication easily but these pills are easily crushed between two spoons and dissolve in her wet food so she gets them down.

    Makes Soft, Fluffy Cats

By Fancy on Apr 15, 2021

My vet had asked me to put one of my cats on B vitamins for a month back when she wasn't doing so well. I kept her on them because she's kind of small and can use all the help she can get. She became the sleekest panther. The other cat wanted in and his coat turned from semi-course to soft and fluffy. He looks like a male model. I put the two new kittens on these and their fur has changed for the better as well. They also come running when I yell out "Vitamin Time."
