Helps my senior cat a lot

It really helps her. Her legs were clicking for a few months. We took her to the vet as soon as we noticed the sound. And he said she could've landed really hard on her legs or she had arthritis. She was fine for a little while but then she started limping. We had to take her back to the vet and he recommended supplements and gave us some arthritis medicine for her. We bought her some chewables she ate them for a little while but then she became picky she wouldn't eat them. And then we bought these capsules and she doesn't even notice it in her food. She just got weaned off her medicine. And she is for the time being only taking this capsule supplement. Until she might need more medicine then she'll be on both again. Thanks for helping her be more comfortable.

Used for bladder health

My 9 year old boy, who is about 16 pounds, has chronic UTIs and bladder pin. He already takes prescription food, but after a recent flare up my vet also recommended either Cosequin or Dasequin for him, as the chondroitin is apparently good for bladder health. He didn’t like the dasequin at all and rejected his food, but he took his food with Cosequin like normal. My vet had said it’s common in cats for them to like one or the other - this is the one my guy likes. It seems to be helping, and the joint support now that he’s older is also nice to have. I’ve used dasequin for dogs with arthritis before and these formulas do genuinely help as they age.

Missed opportunity

I was so stocked to start this on our 12yo cat (who is new to us). I so wanted to help what appeared to be arthritis and old age bones. However, he got diarrhea within two days of use. So I googled and realized that diarrhea is a possibile side effect, so had to stop it. Just sad I didn't get to use it and see if it helped him. So something to consider...that's why I rated it a three. But I support the med in general and it's purpose.

It’s helping after one week!

Our poor little one has a pituitary gland tumor which gave her insulin resistant diabetes and arthritis. I’ve noticed that her arthritis been getting worse. Did my research and ordered cosequin based on all the positive reviews. I give her one capsul a day in her wet food. She cannot detect it. We’ve noticed she started to jump easier and the look on her face has softened; she doesn’t look worn out anymore. I was worried about her blood glucose levels, and those have actually gone down since she’s been on cosequin and Omega 3. Will continue to purchase. As always, great experience with Chewy! Chewy is the best!!

Helps My Cat's Stiff Legs

I recently noticed my 14 yo Maine Coon was walking heavy and stiffly. I also noticed that when he was standing he was alternating front legs and they had a fine tremor. I started giving him a cosequin capsule (+ 5 drops of homeopathic pain relief also purchased at chewy) stirred into about 2 Tbs of canned food every day. His symptoms improved after 2 days and after 2 weeks they are undetectable. I will continue with these for the foreseeable future.

Excellent product!

We use this often at the local rescue we volunteer for, but our vet also recommended it for our senior kitty who had difficulty going #2 with her stool being solid. This seems to be helping her a lot, and cats, in general, seem to like the flavor of this powder for whatever reason. Our younger kitty is also taking this that's helping with his allergies and digestion, so it's a win-win product!

Good Product

Some of my rescues are older. Although we have them on good diet disease(arthtitis) does affect their lives. I have used product in past, now my 16 year old male needs some help. I would recommend discussing with a Vet first as the problem may be different. But giving at a time of day when cat rests most, seems to get into system best. I do early evening. Give it some time, every cat has its own metabolism. Enjoy your cat...let your cat grow old with you.

Cosequin capsules for cats

These capsules seem to be helping my soon to be 15 year old cat. Other than her joints, she’s doing pretty good for her she. A picture of Autumn included.

AWESOME STUFF

Dutch is 10 years old and recently started having some pain due to arthritis. This stuff works amazing. He's been on it for a bout 3 weeks and I have seen a huge difference. 100% recommend this!

Will actually take this!

My cat is 16 and in great shape. My senior dog with arthritis took a joint supplement and it worked well so I wanted to try it for the cat. Couldn’t find anything that she would actually consume. Finally got these and all I do is open a capsule and mix it in her food and she has no problem eating it up. She has no significant mobility problems so I’m giving this as a preventative to keep her old joints going, so I can’t really say it’s made a huge difference but she seems a little brighter and more active so I’m going to keep up with it.
