Description

Nutramax has combined over ten years of clinical use and research on their joint health supplement Cosequin with their research in advanced joint health ingredients in developing Dasuquin, a cost-effective formulation for dogs. Dasuquin combines NMX1000 ASU (avocado/soybean unsaponifiables) and decaffeinated tea with Cosequin's FCHG49 glucosamine hydrochloride and TRH122 low molecular weight chondroitin sulfate to provide the most comprehensive joint health management formula available for dogs. Dasuquin is a dual synergistic formula: its specific glucosamine hydrochloride and low molecular weight chondroitin sulfate have demonstrated synergy in stimulating cartilage matrix production, while ASU also acts synergistically with glucosamine.

  • Everything I Hoped

My vet recommended this product and after reading the reviews here at Chewy, I decided to give it a try for two of my large dogs. The day it arrived, the dogs were excited so I opened the bag and gave each of them one and they ate it like it was a delicious treat. That eliminated the problem of having to jam a pill down their throat. Now, after a few weeks of being on the introductory dosage, I am seeing improvement in their mobility and they are able to continue our morning hikes. It's rare when something lives up to our hopes and expectations, but Dasuquin does and my dogs and I are enjoying the benefits. • Dasaquin helps my pups

    By on

Dasaquin has been a great help easing joint issues for my 2 older dogs, Hannah and Kodi. They’ve been on Dasaquin for 4-5 years now. Hannah is 13 and was a puppy mill breeding dog for 5 years living in a cage. She was very inhumanly treated and came to me with a badly healed broken right hind leg and very weak left hind leg. With Dasaquin, she is able to take short walks and loves to run in shorts spurts around her backyard. When Hannah is especially playful, she’ll hop all around like popcorn popping. I seriously doubt she’d be able to do much of this without Dasaquin. Love the product and give it to 14 year old Kodi as well just to help maintain his good mobility!! Highly recommend it!!

  • Buy it , it's worth every penny

3 weeks now and my 9 year old Akita is bounding, spinning circles, and frollicking like a puppy... This is in the morning BEFORE she gets the product...And she gobbles them up....I put 2 in with her food every morning. One more week and I'll switch to one chewable. This stuff works....She had a slight limp when walking, like she was favoring her right shoulder. Gone....No limp.... And she is stronger, I can feel it on the leash. I believe the MSM might have reduced inflamation. Whatever though, it is great.

  • Good product

My 8 year old dog had knee surgery a year ago and still limps, until I started her on Dasuquin with MSM. I started noticing an improvement after a few days, plus her leg doesn't jerk and spasm when she sleeps anymore, (Another "after effect" of her knee surgery). She still limps if she plays too hard outside with the other dogs, but I definitely see an improvement! I put our other 3 dogs on Dasuquin without the MSM and hopefully they won't have to have knee surgery.

  • Doesn't work for my husky

    By on

My husky had leg surgery when he was just one year old (he is four now.) He was fine after surgery, but recently, we noticed that he started limping. We took him in to get X-rays and showed that he has arthritis on that leg from the surgery. Our vet recommended this product to us, but after almost 3 months of being on it, we do not see improvements. Very disappointed.

  • Great Product and Helps with Mobility

    By on

Our lab is 13 years old and our vet recommended this product. It has helped our dog a lot with her pain and mobility from aging and weak back legs/arthritis. Our dog does not like pills but these are chewable. She is also very fussy with her food but she will eat these with no problem. I do give them to our dog with a full meal for maximum absorption and to ensure no stomach issues as she has a sensitive stomach. No stomach issues. Great product!

  • Dasuquin great

    By on

My Labrador is 10 years old and recently diagnosed with arthritis. This was recommended by her vet. I can really tell a huge difference in her. She walks better, doesn't seem to be in nearly as much pain, and doesn't pop and crack like before. I can't stand to see her in pain, so this is well worth it for us. She takes the medicine really well, which is also a benefit.

I have a 11yo (almost 12yo) female black lab. Within 4 weeks of giving her this supplement twice a day (per instructions during the first 4-6 weeks) she almost became a new dog. She had a well visit at the 5 week mark of taking this supplement and the vet said her mobility was charting better than the year before! I will note that she is a good weight and gets plenty of exercise. I always recommend this product to other dog owners!

  • Good treat

    By on

I tried this instead of the vet dasaquin advanced formula. It doesn’t work as well, but the cost is better, so I can treat her with them in between the vet formula. It does save on cost and instead of treats that are just a treat, these actually help my 14 year old fur baby’s joints. So 4 stars. But the Advanced formula does work better.

  • Treats for Tess

    By on

My dog is very finicky. She somehow knows a "treat" is medicine and refuse to take. I usually have to force her to swallow tablets (to include the Dasuquin Chew Tabs) but she loves these soft chews and thinks they are treats. She waits patiently every morning for her "treat". She also has a lot more energy and mobility.
