Nutramax has combined over ten years of clinical use and research on their joint health supplement Cosequin with their research in advanced joint health ingredients in developing Dasuquin, a cost-effective formulation for dogs. Dasuquin combines NMX1000 ASU (avocado/soybean unsaponifiables) and decaffeinated tea with Cosequin's FCHG49 glucosamine hydrochloride and TRH122 low molecular weight chondroitin sulfate to provide the most comprehensive joint health management formula available for dogs. Dasuquin is a dual synergistic formula: its specific glucosamine hydrochloride and low molecular weight chondroitin sulfate have demonstrated synergy in stimulating cartilage matrix production, while ASU also acts synergistically with glucosamine.

Dog hates It. Very hard and Nasty Smell
By Mariana on Dec 17, 2020
My dog absolutely hates this stuff. The little squares are really firm and have a strong smell. She won’t eat it, I tried covering it with peanut butter. I tried mashing it down and blending with her wet food. The smell is so strong she ignored her food all day. I tried mixing it with cheese. Nothing can make my dog eat these. The smell is so strong, it was stuck to my finger tips all day after I mashed it up. I washed my hands multiple times to no avail. I think a larger dog breed with strong teeth might enjoy these. But if you have a small dog like me (12 lbs and under) these are much to large and firm for them.

Noticing improvement with Dasuquin
By doublemint on Dec 1, 2020
I began giving my 12 year old Aussie mix 2 chews per day, starting about 1 week ago. We are noticing small positive changes in his stair climbing and getting to a standing position. This dose is for 1 month, then we will go to 1 chew per day. I wasn't expecting to see any changes this soon, so I'm pleased with the progress I am seeing. I look forward to continuing improvement as time goes on.

Great Stuff
By Shar on Nov 17, 2020
I have a thirty lb. ten year old daschund that was having hip trouble. She slowed down tremendously and could barely step up to get over the threshold of our patio door. 24 hours after her first dose a miracle happened. She’s even running some. She will be given this from now on. She even likes the taste and seems to know these chews is helping her pain. When she sees the pack, she comes running. I greatly recommend.

Made my dog whole again
By Tara on Nov 13, 2020
My yorkie has taken this for a few weeks now and he went from not wanting to play or walk due to his right knee giving his issues. He couldn’t put any weight on it and would not even walk on it. Three week fast forward he is playing running and even jumping which I don’t like him doing. He is 13 years old going on 9 right now. Lol this product has given him a great few more years!

Amazing results
By Hsapp78 on Oct 5, 2020
I have a 15 pound 4 year old Maltese Mix that tore both ACL in her back legs and is healed from surgery but has arthritis from the injuries. Within 2 days of taking this she is running playing and so much energy!! This product was recommended by the vet. I give it in the morning with food and hasn’t shown any stomach problems, she is sensitive to a lot of stuff so I was somewhat worried but no problems. I would highly recommend!! I can’t say enough about how much I can tell it’s helping our girl

My Misty Girl

I was skeptical starting a new product so late but I am not lying when I say my 14 yr old Beagle/Aus Cattle mix was RUNNING on our last walk!! She has pretty severe arthritis in her back legs and struggles getting around. It has been about a month of using them and it makes me so happy to see HER happy. You can 100% tell that they are helping just by her energy and jumps, night and day difference. Totally worth trying!

This stuff works!
By Arlosmom on Sep 3, 2020
My 13 year old rescue mini poodle was recently diagnosed with arthritic changes to his spinal column. He deteriorated very quickly. Over the course of about 10 days he went from 2 mile walks, jumping up 3 ft into my arms and running around the house like a madman to being unable to jump, unable to go up and down the stairs, and dragging his back toes on the ground when he walked. My vet recommended trying this product. He loves his "treat" and after 7 days he has made what seems like a miraculous recovery. He still can't tolerate long walks, but he can jump onto the bed, go up and down the stairs and his toes don't drag on the ground. Most importantly he is happy and playful again. Was Recommended by Veterinarian
By Sally on Sep 2, 2020
It is a little soon to tell if it is helping "Poppy" to feel better, but the product was recommended for a slight hip issue. The packaging is great with a zip-lock, and the soft chews are readily accepted. There are instructions for beginning and maintenance dosing on the package. There are plenty of them to go for quite awhile, so that helps on the pricing. I chose to feed it to "Poppy" with her morning meal and I have not noticed any tummy upset. <3
