You have been out of stock on Nutramax Denamarin for my small poodle for months! Are you planning on getting this any longer?
Answer by Jaycie • Dec 16, 2021
It’s a supply issue. It is out of stock everywhere.

When do you think the Denamarin tablets in?

How long can my dog stay on denamarin?
Answer by Chewy • May 09, 2018
This depends on the current condition of your dog. These tablets are safe for long term use. We recommend consulting a veterinarian for accurate feeding regimes based on your dog's health.

Which is easier for the dogs to take, the regular or chewable?
Answer by Chewy • Jun 20, 2019
Ease of administration between these tablets and the chews will vary from pet to pet. This medication should be administered on an empty stomach at least 1 hour before eating. If you must mask with food it is recommended to use no more than a tablespoon.

Get The Smaller Capsules

If you have a small dog or probably even a medium, bear in mind these pills are larger than the capsule-type. I mistakingly got the larger form (even though it said for small) and no matter what I did, I could not get my sheltie to take them. I even "tasted" it myself and it is bitter as heck. So I gave my two "bottles" to my vet friend and she can give them to her clients. Go w/ the capsule types and mush a bit of peanut butter on them and your dog should take it easily. My vet friend told me that a dab of peanut butter probably won't mess up the process. Or use a pill pocket. This supplement is better than just giving the plain milk thistle supplement made by other brands.

Great for liver issues

Denamarin is better than many of the other liver supplements on the market and I have used it several times with success. In combination with Usodiol, it can help with liver and gallbladder issues and give your pet a better quality of life. Good product, but do check with your vet before starting it.

Denamarin Liver Health Supplement

Great supplement for liver support. My dog has an autoimmune disease which also affected her liver. Since using Demamarin, her liver values have come up. Highly recommend it.

Frequent assistance

I have been using Chewy since my dog's 1st health problem arose. She is older so problems just keep coming, but she still acts like a puppy most of the time. The point is I have had to contact & change orders & autoship so many times, but every time the folks as Chewy are the nicest around, human always answers & never have to be on hold! It's a wonderful company & very responsive. I appreciate everyone & the help provided.

Happy dogs

Definitely works....my 13 year old terrier has noticeably better liver test results. This product often seems to be unavailable....or back ordered for long periods of time. Otherwise I highly recommend it in either pill or chewables.

better than the chewables

We ordered this for our older Pug because he has had elevated liver enzymes ever since he was treated for Valley Fever. He never liked the chewable and we had to break them up and wrap the pieces in pill pocket. After a while it just got to be a struggle so we looked for something that he could just swallow and not have to taste. These were much better and he seems to have less GI upset.

LIVER HELP FOR DOG ON PHENOBARBITAL

My vet recommended the supplement as my pet has some liver issues due to being on phenobarbital for over 4 years. Hopefully, it will slow down the damage done & being done to his liver. Paws crossed!

Denamarin Liver Supplement

This product is extremely hard to find right now. It was priced fair, and shipped out quickly. I prefer the chewable tablets, but they are just not available at all right now. Hope they come with them soon.

Good medication

This has helped Ralphie heal his liver and improve digestion. His kidney disease has slowed and all is manageable with Ralphie having huge amounts of energy and enjoyment playing with his friends. It sure has made a difference in his feeling good and healing process.

Chewy does NOT care about pets

Chewy almost killed my dog with a treat contaminated in a deadly bacteria. They have evaded any accountability and do not respond to any contact about it. They should be sued and shut down
