After bloodwork for a dental procedure, our vet advised me that my 12 y.o. Papillon Max had high liver enzymes. He suggested a prescription but my little dog has few teeth left and could not chew them. I found Marin on Chewy and it seemed to have the equivalent of the Demarin plus tumeric for inflammation. I cut it up easily and give it to him as his after breakfast treat. He gobbles it down. Good boy!
My vet said this is a great product. My dog is on various meds for arthritis and Addisons Disease so I want to give her all the help I can. She likes the taste as much as any treat. They are priced affordable and I trust the maker, Nutramax. Ordering more.
These work great for our senior dog that needs a liver supplement!
First off, these are not chews. They are blocks of dry powder. So, I can’t blame her for not eating them. We’ve been trying in vain for weeks to get her to consume this product. Like I said, it’s a powder so it crumbles into dust very easily. We’ve mixed it into her dog food, peanut butter, and baby food. She won’t go near anything with this “chew” in it. So disappointed and frustrated. Why can’t they make this in a pill form that we could slip into peanut butter? Even if we had to give her a couple of small tablets to get the same dose.
My dog will eat just about anything, but these. She will take any chewable tablet but these she refused. Also they stained my carpet bright yellow as well as my hands. And they were so dry most crumbled apart in the package. Don’t waste your money.
My dog did not like these chews at all. I gave them to her to eat like a treat no way. I then ground up and put it in her food. She would not eat the food for days. Too big to put in pill pocket. What a waste!
My dog readily took this supplement, which Chewy was quick to send when ordered. I would recommend this product
She loves these...I put it on top of her dry food by breaking it up, which is simple , and sprinkle it across the top.
I’d been giving denamarin plus and having to break them up to wrap in a piece of sliced turkey, then wait an hour prior to feeding. This goes in the food and it’s done. Also every other day allows for more time in general. One of mine takes medication for his liver besides this but it does help.
He wouldnt take the pill so tried these and he loves them !!
