Healthy dog
I have noticed within a week of giving my rescue dog this probiotic that she is scratching less and her eyes have less 'gunk' in the corners. My vet prescribed Proviable to my dog a few months ago when she had some stomach upset. Because she tolerated it well before, I decided to give this to her on a daily basis for her overall health. I did call the vet and was told that I could order directly on the CHEWY.com website. I am so glad that I did!
great stuff
I first ordered the “kit” that also contains the syringe for short term GI relief, but then bc it worked so well on my senior dog I kept her on the capsules indefinitely. The syringe itself I only have her one dose a day and I think by day 2 she was much better. We have to switch up her food so much bc of her pickiness/cancer that if not on something to help, that will wreck her GI. She is also on long term metronidiazole from the vet (which is also a factor and does help) but I feel better knowing she has some good intestinal support as well, as she’s not always eating her senior kibbles (which most also contains pre and probiotics).
EXCELLENT HELP WITH STOMACH
My mini doxie was having a tough start. We tried a couple different types of food, and also got her on a regiment of yogurt and pumpkin to get her stool a little more firm. Putting her on Proviable daily was a game changer. Now she's on one pill just once a week for maintenance (we still do yogurt per vet recommendation). We do notice when we don't give it to her - her stool starts to get watery and loose. Some dogs just need a little help until they can build up the biom in their GI on their own. This stuff is EXCELLENT in helping pets gain the stuff they need to digest. I'm so thankful it's available and it's GENTLE for digestion.
Life Saver
These capsules worked quickly to change my 14 year old dog's gut. It was simple, just sprinkle the powder in the capsule onto a small amount of her favorite wet food. She would gobble it up everytime. After I knew she had eaten the medicated food I would give her more food Within 2 days she was back to normal
So far, so good!
My cat was prescribed this product and so far, so good. His bowel movements were runny, but they are now more formed and firm. My cat has a very sensitive gastro track so this is helping him. I'll continue with this product
Helped my cat
My cat started having digestion issues last year. I was recommended this product by his vet and it's helped him so much! He's a picky eater and will only eat dry food. He wouldn't eat his dry food if we sprinkled it on top, so we mix it with a teaspoon of wet food and use a syringe to feed him the probiotic. This is the only way he will eat wet food, and now he comes running when he hears I'm making his "snack".

Unfortunately I had to give this one star even with the amazing reviews everyone else had. I based my purchase off of that, and was really excited to try something that was tasteless and would help him with his digestion. Hes a Sphynx and has ALWAYS had problems with that. The very first time I opened a capsule and poured it into his food, he still ate it, or most of it I believe. But once I kept doing it, I noticed he was not finishing his food at all. He usually inhales it, licks his bowl clean and his sisters, so I knew something was up. I would sprinkle most of the capsule into his food, and just a little into his sisters bowl. I noticed that he would completely leave his bowl full and eat hers, when normally he would eat all of both of their bowls. I really wanted this to work and Im glad so many others had luck with it. I guess I will keep searching for a similar product to this that he really cant taste. Also, on one of my last times mixing this into his wet food, I noticed a B-vitamin smell and hopefully Im not crazy but I personally gag when I smell it too, so I dont blame him for not eating his food mixed with the supplement lol. I will donate the box I bought, since I only used maybe 4 to 6 capsules out of it. Hopefully this review helps someone else. Just to add, my cat isnt picky AT ALL. As long as his wet food has gravy, hes happy.
Helps w/ my pups GI
Our vet recommended this brand since we told her that our golden retriever has a sensitive stomach and her poops in the afternoon are usually on the softer side. We ended up buying it here 5 billion bacteria (instead of vet website which was 10 billion/ capsule). We were switching her from an allergy immunity supplement that only has 10 million bacteria so this is a step up. It has been very helpful. We have been using this for about a month and a half and her digestion has improved. Just ordered another box arriving tomorrow.
Excellent and easy to use
Recommended by my vet to help with a food change for a cat with allergies. This solved our loose stool problem in 3 days and was very easy to use when mixed with canned food.
HELPS FELINE CALICIVIRUS.
My cat has feline calicivirus. My vet. said, always keep the cat on "Proviable-DC" daily. I push whole capsule in back of cat's mouth & cat easily swallows it, vet. said that was ok. My cat will not eat anything sprinkled on food.
