    Very helpful!

I have a 1.5 year old giant German Shepherd, who had severe separation anxiety when I leave him alone. My vet recommended these, and over time they have helped significantly! I use these in combination with other herbal remedies. You need to be patient and allow at least 30 days to see a difference. I gave the supplement in the morning and my dog liked the flavor. After a few days the dog was fairly sleepy during the day. He had a “spring” effect when the medicine wore off in the evening and the next morning. He became very active, wanted to shred toys and chew during those times until he became sleepy again after taking the pill. We gave it just over a week to see if he would level out and then took him off Solliquin. His personality had changed too much. The vet said they had good experience with it so it was worth a try, but it did not work for us. Gave two stars for the flavor. My dog is picky, but liked this one. … more

    My dog doesn't like it

    By on

My dog likes the chewable ones for smaller dogs but doesn't like these tablets. I thought I could return them but haven't been able to yet. I went on the Chewy website and was instructed to send a message, which I did. I think that was yesterday. I thought I would've heard back by now.

    So Disappointed!

    By on

I am so disappointed with this product! My vet recommended the smaller size for our cat, and our dog attempts to “steal” them from her in a regular basis. The small ones are soft and apparently taste delicious. I decided to order the large ones for our dog. She absolutely refuses to eat them, and I don’t blame her! They are hard and chalky looking, very much like a Tums. They must not taste good either. I see no point in forcing an already anxious rescue dog to swallow something unappetizing that may or may not help.

    Terrible side effects

I started my dog on this supplement 4 days ago at the recommendation of our vet. She is a 6-yo Cane Corso rescue and despite settling in well at home with our family over the past 3 months, she began exhibiting extreme anxiety (non-stop barking and growling) at strangers a couple of weeks ago, which happened to coincide with the end of "stay-at-home" orders for our state. She has become completely lethargic and uninterested in eating. She is no longer the happy, playful dog that we have come to know and love. I will be discontinuing use of this - also at the recommendation of our vet - immediately. I do NOT recommend it for older dogs who are lower-energy to begin with. I don't notice a difference.

I bought this from my vet at first and tried it for a while. Then I ordered it from chewy but haven't started the chewy batch yet. I'm not sure it works at all.

    Disappointed

I was hoping this would calm my German shepherd. But he is still anxious. Only been few weeks. May work as time goes on.

    Did the opposite

HI - any chance I can return these? Seems as Bailey does not do well on this product at all -- seems like she gets more hyper. Strangely enough the meds from the Vet also did that to her. She had been spayed and we wanted her calm, but did not seem to work for her. Hopefully it does well with other dogs.
