    I think it works?

I have a reactive psycho border collie-poodle. I give him one tablet in the morning, one in the evening, and some random ones sometimes throughout the day. I gave the supplement in the morning and my dog liked the flavor. After a few days the dog was fairly sleepy during the day. He had a “spring” effect when the medicine wore off in the evening and the next morning. He became very active, wanted to shred toys and chew during those times until he became sleepy again after taking the pill. We gave it just over a week to see if he would level out and then took him off Solliquin. His personality had changed too much. The vet said they had good experience with it so it was worth a try, but it did not work for us. Gave two stars for the flavor. My dog is picky, but liked this one. … more

    Amazing! Great for anxiety!

    By on

My husky is just kinda point blank psychotic lol no but he has extremely bad anxiety and he ans his brother who got along fine as pups now fight often because morrison (the husky) has to always have his way. That was probably our fault since he was our first dog ever and we spoiled him like crazy and always didn't really know how to train very well. Believe me we have learned from our mistakes and our akita is the most amazing trained doggie ever and is super sweet but I guess like most with their kids we messed up the first time around lol we give him this product to help him not want to be angry with his brother and also just to calm down his anxiety all together and it works amazing! Also doesn't change the personality or make them tired because those were two things I was very weary of. Just such a great product and also for those people complaining that it doesn't taste good (which shouldn't really matter) just put it in a spoonful of peanut butter (all natural) and my husky doesn't care what's In that spoonful as long as he can eat the pb … more

    solliqiuin

This product has helped my American bully who is a 3 year old female who deals with anxiety. She has only been on it a couple of weeks but can see changes already. I do have to give it in the morning it seems to keep her up if I give it in the evening to her. She had been on Prozac for a long time and I didn’t like how it changed her personality and this product doesn’t have that effect at all!!!

    Amazing Product

    By on

I've only been using this product for a week and can already see the difference in my dog. Being extremely shy and fearful of strangers and new places, I just hoped to make things better for her. After just a few days, she seemed more relaxed on our walk, instead of wanting to come home after only walking a short distance, she now will go to the end of the block. Strangers passing us in the road no longer freak her out. I defiantly recommend this to anyone that has a fearful dog, just to take the edge off and open up their life a bit. It's not a miracle worker but, does help.

    Helps Rescue w/ PTSD

    By on

Our rescue had an extremely difficult past, but has done remarkably well and is generally happy. But just like a human who has gone through traumatic situations, she does have some difficulty with anxiety at times. Something falling would make her gag. If a stranger came to our home, she would tremble and shake, then after they’d left, lay there depressed for hours not even eating treats. Our vet recommended Solliquin. We were hesitant at first not wanting to “dope her up” or change her personality. But after learning it was all-natural and didn’t affect personality or make her drowsy, we decided to try it. I was worried when I saw the size, thinking it would be hard to get down. But drop it on the floor, and she chews it right up. She doesn’t even need to wrap it in cheese to take it. After 2 weeks, she has done very well. Repair man came, and she barked a little like any dog does, but did not get hysterical, shake, lay there depressed, or quit eating, handling it much better than previously. When he was gone, that was it, back to normal. It didn’t ruin the rest of her day. She hasn’t experienced any side effects or changes in personality. She is still the same sweet, happy, loving baby, just without the episodes of severe anxiety when things scare her. On a side note, the vet said when recommending Solliquin that it works well for many dogs, but for some, it works better in combination with a calming collar. She seems to do well on Solliquin alone, and won’t need one. But using both the Solliquin and calming collar together might help at least some of those who aren’t seeing a difference with Solliquin alone. … more

Works great for my nervous dog!

    By on

I have a female German Shepherd with a lot of anxiety. One thing that bothers her a lot is the sound of the wind on a very windy day. After a couple weeks of taking these supplements daily, she no longer shakes or whines or tries to climb on our laps when it's windy . It's amazing. She still has some anxieties but definitely much less than before.

    This stuff works

    By on

I 100% recommend this. My German Shepherd is a super anxious dog and no calming supplement I have ever tried has worked. I tried this one not expecting much because there really isn’t anything in it, but it made a world of difference. You do need to give it the full month to really see effects. He’s still a crazy goofball and doesn’t change his personality at all, but it helps him stop and think before he reacts.

    Made a difference, I think

I upped my dog's behavioral meds by 35% a couple of weeks b/f starting this, so not totally sure of its effect. However, I did see her calm down with it, so 5 stars it is!

    Reduces my dogs anxious behaviors

    By on

I have tried many other calming supplements for my dog that suffers from noise phobia, isolation distress, car anxiety, & generalized anxiety, & leash reacitivity (yes, he's a hot mess but I love the kid). Solliquin has been the most effective at reducing his anxious symptoms (excessive yawning, panting, pacing, whimpering, hiding, lunging/barking at dogs on leash). I give him a double dose on 4th of July & NYE due to fireworks & he used to hide under my bed for 48 hours trembling on these holidays, now he snuggles under the covers with me, no trembling. He is also very picky & it is not easy to get him to take a pill but I just break the Solliquin chew in half & put it in a pill pocket & he I have tried many other calming supplements for my dog that suffers from noise phobia, isolation distress, car anxiety, & generalized anxiety, & leash reacitivity (yes, he's a hot mess but I love the kid). It is not an overnight change in his anxiety & we certainly don't rely on it alone to improve his emotional health (behavior modification/rewards based desensitization & counter-conditioning is key) but it has been an excellent tool in helping him feel better & gets him into a calmer state of mind that makes him much easier to train. … more
