Great product - requires crumbling

Just started giving this to our cats who aren't getting along. It is pretty impossible to give the treat as it is, because it's incredibly hard. But it's very easy to crush, so we do that and sprinkle on their wet food. It's very effective, but you just need to crush it first. We give 1/4 to 1/2 of a treat. We tried a whole treat and the cats were asleep for hours and hours. If that's what you want, give a whole treat, but we just wanted to dial it down a notch.

Mrs. M A Can-McG

My 14 y.o. Dachshund loves these and it calms him. He hears thunder and just puts his head back down. The same with fireworks. It doesn’t knock him out or put him in a stupor. Been using for almost a year now.

Cats refused to eat it

Hoped it would help my girl who gets super stressed when I travel. Can't say if it worked, neither of my cats would touch it. YMMV.

Didn't Like

My vet gave me these before, and both cats ate them. A couple of years have passed, and I tried again. Neither cat will eat them. The only good this is that I did not pay the same amount that I did at the vet. I so wished that they worked. They sometimes do not get along, and need some extra boost to the Feliway.

Cat hates it, can't tell if it's doing anything

I know I'm supposed to give this longer to determine whether it's really working, but that's kind of hard to do when it's a challenge just to get the cat to eat it in the first place. In the couple weeks I've been giving him these, I usually have to crumble it up and mix it into his wet food, but he's more of a dry food fan, which means he sometimes doesn't finish the wet stuff. I have started trying to coat it in coconut oil, which has been a successful tactic to get him to eat other things he's meh about in the past, but I can't say if that will work long term. My cat also happens to be a very difficult case. The only reason I have resumed bothering to work on his antisocial behavior is because his companion cat (who was a companion to me as well) recently died, and now that it's just us two, I want to see if I can get him to accept me. I was hoping this might chill him out enough to make him willing to accept physical contact from me. It's very possible that even if he did easily eat it, it might not do much to help in that regard. I probably won't bother with these again and may look to a liquid based supplement to help calm him. If you are a cat guardian, be warned that these are on the large end and very crumbly when broken apart. You may want to break them in at least two pieces before offering to your cat.

Not for my treat loving cat

I bought these as I am desperate to find something to calm my aging cat. I have tried so many things, and I thought this could the thing that would finally help since he is a treat lover. These are not cat size, and my cat had zero interest them. I am not sure how a treat could be both for a dog and a cat since they are so different. I wish I thought about it before purchasing them.

YUCK! No Cats Would Touch

So, I have two pairs of rescue cats that are both sets of brothers. My big boys are going to be 5 and the littles are about 15 months old. One of the little guys had some serious health issues and him being sick then in & out of the hospital was extremely stressful on one of my big guys. There's been a lot of hissing. My vet recommended this supplement, but none of my cats would even touch it at all, unfortunately. They aren't food snobs either. As a result, I cannot attest to this products effectiveness once actually ingested.

HELPS OUR PUPS

This was reccommended to us for calming our Cocker Spaniels....it's not a miracle worker, but I do believe it calms them somewhat.

Solliquin chews

My dog has anxiety issues and I feel it helps. It does not stop this behavior 100%. My dog likes it and tolerates it very well. She is 13 pounds and takes one every day

they work for George

I never think these work until we run out. I give 2/day to my 22lb corgi/chi mix George. He has confidence issues, the standout being, barking at nothing. This gets old as he is 11. For being a non prescription supplement, they work well enough that I have been buying them for atleast 4 years.
