Consult your veterinarian to determine the best vitamins and supplements for your furry friend.

We started our 5 year-old Lab on these 3 weeks ago for dry skin/dandruff at the recommendation of our vet. She takes them twice daily and we have seen no further dry skin. I had given her 1200 mg fish oil capsules (that people take, at the recommendation of a different vet). The Welactin seems to work much better for our girl. They are not too expensive, either.
My 11 yo 21 lb Aussie Mini broke his neck last Summer. Post surgery, he is fine today. We learned he had IVDD. He takes 1 capsule in a pill pocket daily along with Dasaquin -both by Nutramax. No one can believe he is 11. Not even his Vets. He has a beautiful coat, bright eyes and wiggles his playful self to all he meets
My vet recommended this product for my 6 yr old female chocolate lab. I noticed when I started giving it to her she got diarrhea. I thought maybe it was a coincidence, so I stopped for a week. I cut her dose in half and gave her one pill yesterday - diarrhea again (paired with lethargy). I can tell she wasn't feeling well right away. I also made the mistake of buying 120 capsules - smh! May be worth seeing if your vet has a sample before buying this. I noticed the other reviews say this contains peppermint oil which is toxic to dogs - curious if that's what why ours is sensitive to this profit.
Ours 16yrs cocker spaniel mix has Kidney Disease, he has been taking this daily for almost 2yrs. His last test results have lowered his results. Amazing to hear that news the omega 3 has benefited Jack.
This product made my pet sick. I thought since Chewy was selling the product it would be safe. But the peppermint oil in the product is known to be toxic ( wish I had known that before giving it to my let ). DO NOT BUY. Caused bliss vomit and stool in my 25lb mini Aussie, blue. And an expensive ER visit.
I purchased Welactin for mom Beagle who developed an awful allergy. He's on allergy meds but was still losing hair in just a week its made a difference and he's got his hair back
I am not a fan of these. These are very huge and super hard even really hard to cut with a scissors just to put on a soft food or something to go with these. I will not be buying these again I love the company and other stuff but I am not a fan of these. I can barely even get these out of the bottle I had to take a knife and break them up.
My vet recommended this to us and it turned our older dog’s life around! Paired with Nutramax Dasequin, he’s transformed from sad, limping, and unable to run into the happy, running fool we remember from a year ago! I am proactively giving to my younger dog now too. They both eat the softgels up when mixed with their food with no issues. Being bigger dogs (80 and 100lbs) we have to give them 4-5 pills each, but split over two meals a day makes it manageable. The oil was fine, just annoying to measure it out - this is so much easier!
Our vet recommended this to help get our dog back on track after an illness. He’s now got a thick lustrous coat and it’s a really good supplement.
The idea to “oil your dog” sounds strange but if it help with dry skin and he grows a beautiful coat it’s worth it I’ve used Welactin for all my dogs over the last twenty years and all of them benefit from the supplement
