Nutrientious Nutrena
As always, do your research on what each feed includes. One reason I like this specific brand is because it includes Amprolium while the Dumor Chick Starter doesn't have it. Amprolium is essential which helps prevent your chicken from getting a parasite which causes Coccidiosis. If you don't have that in your feed, you will need to measure and give liquid Corid into the chicken water and that is more work. What's worse is that Corid is no longer available, it is by prescription only. On top of that, two years ago we experienced Coccidiosis and it is NOT something you want to experience. I am not going in depth but it was a lot of work and in the tiring 4 or 5 days, we were only able to save 3 out of 11 chicks. So, Nutrena Naturewise Chick Starter Grower Medicated Poultry Feed already takes care of that for you! In addition to that, in another flock of chickens, I had an adult Silkie with Wry Neck Syndrome. I decided to give her this feed and the syndrome went away! Make sure you pay attention to the fact that it is medicated and the age/weeks of your chick's vaccination if any. Its full of pre-and probiotics. I suggest this specific chick feed for your new chicks!
Good my chickens loved it
I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. This is better than other products I have tried and the chicken didn’t like.I would definitely choose this product again! This chicken food was nice and good ingredients and my baby chickens tore it up. It was a pretty big bag and lasted about a month maybe less. I’d say a good deal and definitely would recommend trying it out!
Best Chicken “Chick” Starter Food
I introduced Nutrena NatureWise Chick Starter to my chicks and they loved it. Even my older chickens tried to eat it. After a couple days I could tell a difference in how more active they were and clucked every time they heard me walking close to their cage. I’d give it to them early in the morning and in the evening for supper. I’m definitely buying more of Nutrena NatureWise Chick Starter.
