What is the purpose of aspergillosis niger in your product? It reduces antioxidant defenses.

Through scientific research, it has been found that the use of a toothpaste containing enzymes (such as Aspergillus Niger) and proteins can boost the natural salivary defences by increasing the levels of lysozyme and hydrogen peroxide in vivo and hypothiocyanite in vitro and reduce the growth and viability of oral bacteria in microbiological models.
I follow the instructions about brushing but "do I rinse" his mouth or allow him to swallow the paste?

my pup did not like this!

I have never seen the face that my dog made when I squeezed a tiny bit on my finger and had him lick it. He snorted and shook his head. No way will he tolerate getting his teeth brushed with this product. He will with other products so it's not just brushing in general.

It worked and she liked it

As it turns out it’s easier to brush my dogs teeth than I expected. She really likes this tooth paste and lets me work on her tarter even though she’s trying to lick the toothbrush the whole time. And I actually saw instant results in some spots.

The toothpaste is fine -- but Chewy's service isn't.

The toothpaste, which was part of an order, arrived. Another item didn't show up tho. Chewy "fixed" the error by compounding it. According to Chewy, the missing item was re-shipped. Later, according to a Chewy email, it was on my doorstep. No, it wasn't. And isn't. Chewy's dependability has followed the dinosaurs into extinction.

Stinky! Will not freshen breath

If you are hoping that this will freshen your dogs breath, it won't! Really strong meat smell, made his breath smell worse.

I love this toothpaste

Everyday I go to my human when he is brushing. I love to get my teeth brushed. I do think my human will have cleaner teeth if he tries my tooth paste..

Groomer Approved

My groomer uses this toothpaste on his animals so I purchased for home use. It does the job of getting my dogs teeth all polished up. My dog likes the taste and will lay down and get ready for his teeth to be brushed every time I bring out this toothpaste.
