Great stuff!
By nvr2amzd on Jan 22, 2021 Top 1000 Contributor
My two cats love this, especially when it is mixed 1:1 with PetAg Hairball Solution Chicken Flavored Gel Cat Supplement. One of my cats (he is a Maine Coon, too, with lots of cat hair) cannot tolerate the crunchy-type of hairball remedies/treats so this is the greatest solution to that problem. I've been mixing this one with the PetAg product for years now and it works very well. The mix of a gel with a paste really produces a nice texture for my kitties to lick off my fingers.

Recipe Changed and Cat No Longer Likes It
By Arbw on Feb 8, 2021
Our cat used to love this and would eagerly lick it off of our fingers but she'll barely touch the last tube we got. We haven't had an issue with the packaging like some others reported but the gel smells different and is also much lighter in color than previously. A shame that a good product had to change.

Works great!
By Connie on Jan 25, 2021
I have two older felines and one is a long haired Tuxedo cat who is cleaning her fur all the time. She is very particular in the grooming of her coat hence the fur balls. She has been on the medication over two years and licks the med off a spoon. I have to give her several doses a day. She loves it and comes to me when it is needed!

My Cats To This Nicely
By Sonia on Jan 15, 2021 Top 500 Contributor
Was using a different gel which was super thick and tended to slide out the side of their mouth. They won't lick it from their paw. This product is more of a lighter paste and goes right down very easy. Plus a couple of my kids like the chicken better which I didn't know was out there. I will continue with this product. Thank you Chewy for a nice selection.

Last 3 Bottles Full of Air/Spoiled
By CatMom8 on Jan 10, 2021
Like many others, every time I order this, the tube is hugely swollen and once opened, smells ruined. My cat—who loves this from a pet store—won't eat it. The worst part is she really needs this. I figured returns/refunds were such a pain, so I never bothered to try that route. Please fix this issue!

I have a cat that requires a hairball treatment daily. This is the only one she will eat on her own. Happy cat-happy mom!

Cats won't touch
By Dori on Jan 12, 2021
My cats use to beg for it and now they won't touch it. I have wasted my money on the last 5 tubes. It looks like the formula was changed and not for the better!

Full of air and burst
By horrible on Nov 10, 2020
It is a shame I have to rate this so low because my cat loves this stuff. Multiple times when this has been shipped to me it is shipped with cat litter with no packing protection and has burst open. Most recently when this happened chewy did send me new ones but they were so full of air they burst on their own at the seems and the product inside went bad.

Happy kitty...
By AWESOME on Oct 9, 2020
My picky kitty loved that gel and I was happy to see it didn't have any petroleum products in it. She only had one dose late last night but I can see (and feel) she is going to do much butter using it. She is a long haired, purebred chinchilla persian with a dollface, 12 years old, and was enduring hairball issues...so I am praying this product will give her relief...I shall send a follow-up review in a week to let you know if we were successful in treatment. GOD BLESS YOU ALL AT CHEWY AND ON THIS PLANET...stay safe during these difficult times.

Chicken paw gel (tube defect)
By Suzan on Oct 5, 2020
There seems to be an issue with the new tubes. The packaging didn’t change however the tubes don’t look how they used to. I will attach a picture below. If you have purchased this product before the first thing you will recognize that’s different is the tube is so full of air (very similar when you use helium in a balloon). This is not my first time buying this product. I don’t know how to remove the seal without losing a good amount of gel and having to throw it away. I don’t know why this brand is adding all this air into the bottle and selling it to consumers this way. There is so much product we end up losing that it’s not even worth buying.
