Sadly, neither cat would touch it

By tcats on Aug 30, 2019

Really wanted this to work. High quality ingredients, great price, but, alas, neither cat would touch it when mixed with their food (and they like dried salmon treats). Tried Fortiflora, Nature's Farmacy Catzymes and Tomlyn Pre & Probiotic, as well. So far, the winner is Nature's Farmacy Catzymes.

    super salmon oil

    By on

My cat loves this stuff! I love that it's wild caught salmon and that it has probiotics in it. My boy has a real sensitive stomach, so the probiotics help him a lot.

    This stuff is gold!!!

I have an older cat who was off his feed even turning down his favourite treats and unseasoned grilled and chopped chicken. He was growing thin and listless. I began using this and a weak later he is eating asking for treats, wanting grilled chicken and eating heartily. His energy levels are back up and I have my baby back. thank you!!

    Great mixed with wet food

    By on

My cat is old and finicky and won’t eat regular probiotic treats so I’ve resorted to crumbling a probiotic treat in a bowl, mixing in a spoonful of wet food and top it off with this salmon oil. She goes crazy for it and she’s getting her vitamins in so it’s a win win for both of us. I wouldn’t recommend mixing this on top of dry food.

Nutri-Vet Probiotics, my cat can eat now

    By on

My cat threw up everything. I imagine something must have stayed down because he survived, but after this product he can eat. (I still have to make sure he doesn't eat garbage or string). It was easy to apply unlike putting powder into wet food, just two squirts, and he can eat.

    Great Coat Improvement!

    By on

My cat, Maggie's coat was getting very dull and she was getting a lot of dandruff. She loves the salmon oil and within one week, her coat became shiny again, with a great decrease in dandruff in 2 weeks. Only watch-outs, my other cats weren't very interested in the salmon oil. Not all cats like it. But worth a try for the price.

    Great product

This probiotic is great. My parent's cat had chronic diarrhea for almost 2 months and was diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease. She was given an antibiotic and was started on this probiotic. In the space of a week, her stools started to firm up and are finally normal. I highly recommend this product.

Here's the situation we were dealing with. We adopted a female Manx cat. The Manx breed is rather deformed (breeders keep breeding them to enhance the deformity... shame on them!). Their deformity is in their rear area, from just before the hip area, all the way to their back end. Yes, you have seen that they do not have tails, and that their back legs are extremely higher than normal cats. What you don't see is their intestinal deformities... the most obvious one is that their stool ranges anywhere from soft to liquid. They can't help it, it's due to their deformity. Well, we adopted a Manx cat, one of 70 that had been living in a travel trailer along with their two elderly owners. We named her Flora. Yes, her first bowel movement cause us to open ALL of the windows (did I mention the odor?) and it was runny... and as she moved around in the litter box, it got stuck to her back feet. Can't blame her... not at all. Ok, so back in my memories I recalled knowing a person (ok 1st husband) who was lactose intolerant. Anything having milk-sugars in it... we it gave him the trots.. I found that adding acidophilus to his diet, curtailed the adverse reaction. So, I applied that knowledge to Flora. Yes, I ordered this Nutri-Vet Probiotics oil for cats... because it has acidophilus in it. Via a syringe (without a needle) I gave her 1/2 tsp by mouth. Four days went by without a bowel movement. I was getting concerned. On the 5th day... yeah... she had a normal consistency bowel movement. Today is the 4th day after she began having normal movements. Will one dose last forever? I don't know, but it has corrected the consistency of her stool for four days. … more

    Must taste good!

    By on

My cat Frank is apparently some sort of food snob because he hates almost everything. He also has a very sensitive digestive system so it can get a bit unpleasant. I have tried three different probiotic brands, all highly reviewed and he won't go anywhere near them. I got this, poured some on his dry food and he attacked it like a gourmet meal in a five star restaurant. Hopefully he will start feeling much better now.
