When our 3.5 y/o female cat gets stressed she has issues with her bladder (Feline Cystitis). Used to be a once a year thing...only for big stuff like moving cross country. Used to be a once a year thing...only for big stuff like moving cross country. But after having multiple workers come in the past few months to do loud repairs she now has major stranger danger and every little thing scares her. She runs from the sight of the FedEx truck and even runs behind the couch when she hears my husband coming up the stairs...he has to call out so she knows it’s just him. Two vets recommended prescription food, but the ingredient list is appalling. Plus my 3 year old male cat had an allergic reaction to it. My pet sitter recommended this paw gel and since it’s a supplement I honestly wasn’t expecting any noticeable results, but I was okay with anything that could possibly help even a little bit. My boy cat loves it, but my girl cat made a HORRIBLE face when she smelled it. I’ve only ever seen that face when she smelled flea medicine. Lol. I waited a week and put it on her paw. She immediately took off running. She is super picky so I tried mixing it with the Tiki Cat chicken flavor cat stix treats that she loves and she just lapped it right up and didn’t suspect a thing. Phew! But the kicker was a few days ago when the cleaning lady came over (scary vacuum and all) and then a few hours later one of my friends came over. She was definitely scared and hiding from both visitors so we were fully prepared for her cystitis to come back. Normally it shows up within 48 hours of an incident, but to our amazement, four days have passed and NO cystitis!! I am utterly shocked! The only thing we can think is that this paw gel was the difference because for months now we have been dealing with this condition every time something slightly stressful happened to her. It’s the first time she got stressed, but it didn’t trigger the cystitis. And this was after her being on it for only 10 days. I have already ordered more...oh yeah, each bottle is only 3 ounces so it goes fast. … more

Unfortunately, my two cats didn’t like it. I guess cats can be as picky as people.

Maybe, but not on her paw.
By Maya on Nov 12, 2020 Top 1000 Contributor
She will eat the salmon sometimes but not from her paw. She try to shake it off and spreads it around. I try adding the tiny bit allowed to her food, since she doesn't like her food and it sometimes helps.

My cat was having some urinary issues, so I bought this for her. She seems to really like it.

Works great!
By Roscoe1 on Aug 29, 2020
I have a cat with history of urinary problems and I noticed his urine starting to smell a bit strong so I knew I needed something to prevent anymore issues. I worked for a veterinarian and we used this brand at the clinic so I gave it a try. I put a nickel sized dab in with his wet food, tried the paw thing and it was a mess, and after a week I his urine odor went back to normal. I’ve continued using once daily for a couple of months and plan to continue.

Nutri-Vet Uri-Ease
By SamsIam on May 17, 2020
This product is great. I pat it on my cat's paw and he licks it off. He has issues urinating at times. It seems to take him longer some time. With this he seems to have relief and that is great! I recommend this!

warning: methylparaben
By kittyl on Apr 19, 2020 Top 250 Contributor
this has some ingredients that are questionable at best, including methylparaben, a known carcinogen. can't understand why would they put that stuff in a pet supplement

Disappointed
By Sally on Apr 18, 2020
Having a cat who's had 2 UTI's I was happy to find something to help him avoid another one. I can't say it works because he doesn't like it. Putting on his paw doesn't work and hiding in food just wastes the food.
