  • So far, the kitties think it's great!

    By on

I have a foster family of five kittens and mom, as well as a stray with her three kittens, and judging by how quickly the moms ate the first bowlfuls, I'd say this is a winner. I like the other Nutro dry kitten food for the actual kittens as the kibble is much smaller. My gang is only now eating the Nutro soft kitten loaf, so this may be just right when they all start eating crunchy food.

  • Not Good Flavor

    By on

I bought this in hopes of feeding my kitten a better quality kibble, but My 2 month old kitten won't eat this. She will eat my other cats adult food but wants nothing to do with this kibble. I buy nutro for all my dogs and they love it but the kitten formula apparently isn't what I thought it was! I will try a different brand of kitten kibble.

  • May not be for kittens

    By on

I wanted to try another brand so I bought this Nutro Max. The bits are too big and my kitties had a difficult chewing it. They didn’t eat it after 2 days. Switching back.

  • my mistake

    By on

I didn't clearly check what flavor I was buying. She doesn't seem to enjoy this as much as the chicken oatmeal. perhaps that one only comes in Nutro plain. I just assumed as I was in a rush. It isn't making her sick but it was a direct change, not a gradual one, and she is eating the dog food instead. =/

  • Kitten loves it!

    By on

Stella, our new 6 month old kitten, really loves this food. She came to us on a low quality food. Our two year old cat Brutus currently eats Nutro Max Indoor Weight Control Formula Roasted Chicken so I felt Stella would do well on Nutro Max too. Both of the kitties are healthy and happy!

  • Kitten loves it!

    By on

Our now 6month old really enjoys this. She was on a different type of dry kitten food and I slowly switched her over to this and she immediately picked out this new food over her old. She loves her Nutro Maxx dry and wet food.

  • Chew Toy loves this, but he is

    By on Top 100 Contributor

Temporarily on a prescription diet for bladder infection. However, it's use these as treats throughout the day and put a few on top of the other to get him to eat it. For some reason ( probably fat content and higher protein) they all love this age group best.

  • My adult cats love this food!

    By on

I bought this food for a foster kitten and while she may be neutral to the food, my adult cats adore it! I like the high quality ingredients and the shape, size of the kibble.
