I have a picky border collie mix and we have finally found a food she likes and I am happy with the ingredients and price point! Really the perfect compromise and everyone is happy!
Gave my puppy Diarrhea.
My puppy has had diarrhea ever since I switched to this food so sadly I’m going to have to discontinue.
Good product
I feed my last dog Nutro almost all her life so I decided to stick with Nutro for my new pup. I am not sure but it seems to be giving her a lot of gas. She really likes it so I am going to stick with it as I trust the Nutro Brand.
Nutro Large Breed puppy food
Excellent puppy food for my 6 month Belgium Malinois. Beautiful skin, teeth and coat, she loves it!
Our new puppy loves it!
We got our German Shepherd puppy with a bag of food from the breeder but our vet recommended we switch -- well, our puppy loves this food (she was picky with the breeder's food)! We're glad we got this food and that Chewy makes it easy and affordable to order; we got it within two days. We've been faithful Chewy customers since about 2011.
Great Food for large breeds
My humans gave this to me on my first day with them. It smelled funny at first, but I learned to love it. But let’s be honest; I’m a Rottweiler, so I will eat ANYTHING. My humans tell me that this is the best food for me to eat because I grow fast and this food has special ingredients that support healthy joints. My humans mix mine with wet food and it is fabulous. My coat is shiny, I have healthy poos and I only throw up when I eat too fast and don’t chew, but what can I say; I’m a Rottweiler, I eat, and take big poos, it’s what I do. If you’re a dog and you want to live a long life without bad hips, and painful arthritis; eat this when you’re little and your bones will be good. Thanks Nutro for making a food for large breed dogs.
gave my dog diarrhea
I really wanted my dog to like Nutro but not only does she not like the food (will even skip meals because she doesn’t like it) but it gave her diarrhea. I switched her food slowly for a week as per instructions on the bag, but her poops have been looking much worse. I tried another brand and she got better. I wanted to see if it was really the Nutro food causing it, so I slowly switched back to Nutro. I let her get used to the food but her poops only got worse and worse while eating Nutro. Btw, I have a 4.5 months black lab puppy
Upset stomach
Tried to get puppy accustomed to the food by gradually adding it into current diet. Went on rice and chicken for a few days to get her stomach back to normal. Finally had to give up on this food and go to another brand.
Don’t recommend,
Tried this for my American Bully because of the listed ingredients and the fact that there were no fillers but It gave my dog diarrhea. I eased him from his original food to the Nutro after about a week but his stomach still bothered him

My puppies love this dog food. It gives them good energy Is anawareness. Nice solid bowel movements.
