  • At least she's eating it . . .

    By on Top 500 Contributor

One of my cats has a problem eating hard food so I decided to try another canned food, we've tried many in the past. She actually eats the Nutro soft loaf. She doesn't finish the whole can but at least she's not gulping down hard food and throwing it up. She still eats the kibble but now has a choice. We've tried this out for 2-3 weeks so far and will be ordering more. 4 stars because the smell is pretty strong but again, she likes it, so I'll be ordering again.

  • Good food for 17 year old who licks his dinner

    By on

Our l7 year old, almost toothless cat, has not been eating well since Wellness changed the formula for their canned turkey. We switched brands but he was not pleased with any of them . He would lick his food for a few minutes, then walk away. It would take multiple attempts to get him to eat and he was loosing weight. We decided to try this Nitro because description mentioned that cats could lick it off the plate. Well, he loves it, licks the plate clean and looks for more! So, unless he changes his mind next week, we are happy. I was also glad to find out from Chewy that the magnesium content is only .02% which is comparable to urinary tract health formulas. • The best I've found so far

My two 16 year-old litter mates have eaten dry food for most of their lives until the last couple years. The female had been losing weight and I needed to try to get her to eat more. My challenge is that her "brother" has had bladder stones and can't have any kind of grain in his food. I have tried every brand of grain-free canned food I can find, and both of them love this one the best of all. They seem to love the flavor, and especially the soft texture with a bit of "gravy" or sauce in the can. I always put a little water in the can and swirl my finger around in the can to get out all the remaining liquid and pour it in the saucer with the food. • Good texture and gravy

My cats are older than seniors and their teeth aren’t the greatest so I needed to find something they would eat. I had been feeding real chicken to supplement the dry kibble because they were getting to thin and would snub everything I gave them. They were having trouble passing feces so the vet told me to add wet food to their diet. I got this food as it is formulated for old felines. My cats like loaf type food with a decent amount of gravy and not the consistency of wet pieces they would need to chew. This food worked very well for them. They eat every bit of it and it has help them move their bowels easier and in turn, causes them less stress while using the litter box. • Mixed impression

The jury(1 Abby & 1 Tonk) is still deliberating. After feeding 2 cases....one day they scarf it up, the next day one or the other leaves it. Certainly worth a try. Nice consistency. Moist.

  • excellent my finicky cats love it

My cats are very finicky. They loved the chicken soft loaf. One of my cats prefers a bit more chunky style so I ordered the same soft chicken with chunks. Very finicky cats. they didn't like the chunks but still love the plain soft loaf chicken. You would think that they would taste the same but I guess to my cats they can tell the difference. Chewy has great service and they credited my account for the case of chunky they would not eat and I ordered 2 more cases of the soft loaf which they gobble up. I would like to make one plea. Chewy is so nice to credit my account for my mistake of ordering something to eat that my cats chose not to eat. I ask that if this happens to you PLEASE donate your My cats are very finicky. I've been looking for a new canned food that both my 10-year-old cats would like. They both lick the bowls clean with this one!

  • No go for my two

I have two cats; one will eat anything and one is the usual picky-pants. Picky-pants tried to bury this. Eat-anything cat ate it and immediately projectile vomited it back up.
