Trying out different foods as she is getting older and what doesn't make her reverse sneeze seems to make her runny. Was hoping this would do the trick but she is not happy. I switched her back to Iams which makes her reverse sneeze but at least she isn't whining from the stomach troubles.
My dogs love it!
We switched from the Nutro Salmon limited ingredient because the price has sky rocketed and this is cheaper. I was skeptical but my dogs really like it.
Great Food
I got a free sample of the So Simple Adult Chicken & Rice Recipe natural dry dog food. I love that fact that the dog food is cooked in the USA with ingredients sourced from around the world. I feel like it has a good mixture of ingredients such as chicken, brown rice, barley, peas, and flaxseed as well as vitamins and minerals. It also lists real chicken as the number one ingredient. It is made with non-GMO ingredients and no chicken by-product meal, corn, wheat or soy protein. My dog is skeptical of new food. It is always a chore on getting him to eat it. He did not hesitate and started eating this food right away. So I would highly recommend this food as it is healthier than our other food we were using and my dog loves it.
Good food for your doggy
The Nutro So Simple Adult Chicken & Rice Recipe Natural Dry Dog Food has been good for my dog. My dog is 80lb and he's an adult dog and will let you know if he likes the food or not. With this bag, he seemed to like it, not as much as his other bag that we get him but was good to try. I didn't notice any changes in his coat or fur and though we do usually give him grain-free food, due to his bad farts, this did not seem to cause any of that either. I think the flavor was not his favorite though it is chicken and that's what he normally eats so I'm not sure if it's because of the other natural ingredients that he was being more picky on. I think with time he would get used to it and I would be willing to use this brand of food if needed. I recommend this for those looking to have a more healthier diet for their dogs.
My dog loves it!
My dog loves it. She is usually not picky if it comes to food but I can tell when she likes certain foods more than others. This one was her favorite so far that I can tell. I feel like it has a good mixture of ingredients such as chicken, brown rice, barley, peas, and flaxseed as well as vitamins and minerals. It was good for her stomach. Her poop also looked healthy. I received this product in order to submit my honest opinion. 5/5 recommended
Picky dogs love it
I received a free sample of Nutro So Simple Adult Chicken & Rice Recipe Natural Dry Dog Food for my two very spoiled rescue pups in exchange for an honest review. One of my pups will eat *almost* anything, and the other is a notoriously picky eater who has to be coaxed to eat most commercially produced dog foods. I liked that this food was a simple recipe and non GMO, and felt that it was a healthier alternative to their current dog food. The food smelled pretty good (at least compared to other dog foods I've purchased for them), and they actually both ended up loving it. Ms. Picky Eater inhaled this food, so whatever it in it clearly made her 14-lb self happy. Ms. Eats Anything also loved it, and whined for more (she didn't get it, but it's cute that she tries). This continued until the bag was gone, so that made me so happy. Keep up the great work, Nutro!
Great for our pup
My dog Missy is somewhat picky, so I often try sampling kibbles with her to see if she prefers a certain food over the other. I had no issue getting Missy to eat the Nutro SO SIMPLE Adult Chicken & Rice Recipe Natural Dry Dog Food. I liked the natural ingredients of the food, which made me worry less about any reaction she made have to a new food.
Simple and Clean Nourishment
My 2 year old boy has become more discriminating with his food of late, picking at his food and eating some pieces and leaving food in his bowl. Now that I have tried Nutro So Simple, he eagerly eats all of his food now and I am quite pleased! The kibble is a nice size which promotes chewing. It has an aroma of that of real food. And the ingredient list is something that I appreciate, simple ingredients and fewer of them.
Picky dog will eat it
I’m not sure if he would like it on its own. I’m mixing it with his old food and some dehydrated topper. it seems to have good ingredients so I plan to keep him on it He doesn’t eat well and I’ve tried many kinds. At least he will eat it

I received a free sample of Nutro So Simple Adult chicken and rice dry dog food. My 1 year old Shih Tzu seemed to like it. I normally feed her a different brand that is specially formulated for small breed adult dogs. However, this food might be a good alternative.
