My poodle loves this

I love feeding this brand to my dogs - they weren't doing so well overall with Earthborn - I think it was the added fish oils in that other brand. Once I switched my two dogs to Nutro Essentials, my little mixed breed dog quit having acid reflux. The poodle liked the new food but was never thrilled. After a couple of months on Nutro Essentials chicken flavor, my poodle had to be coaxed to eat. She got to the point where she would back up or walk away and the a few minutes later go eat reluctantly. I decided to try changing the flavor but staying with Nutro Essentials since they have been so healthy with this food. I paid a little more for the venison than the chicken but it has been worth it! Best for skin allergies

This is literally the only food that has worked to stop my Shibas from chewing their feet/skin raw. My only issue now is that I think one of my dogs is over it. She literally refuses to eat it. I imagine any food is boring after awhile... but I tried to change to something else and instantly the itching began.

No More Itchy Skin Or Tummy Trouble

My German Shepherd/Husky mix has had a sensitive tummy and skin allergies since he was a puppy. Nothing we tried seemed to work, he was miserable, and being on Benadryl daily is a bummer for an active young dog. I decided to switch him to Nutro, as it's the brand I trust for our cats, and after much reading and comparing ingredients, settled on this. WOW what a difference! His coat is gorgeous (he's a handsome boy to begin with), he no longer scratches endlessly, no more pill popping or probiotic sprinkles, his feces are regular and healthy, and he's not a gassy stinker like he used to be. He's Mr. Spoiled with his venison now and I wouldn't have it any other way - happy and healthy. We stumbled on this food in our search for something our Frenchie wasn't allergic to. After 2 years of ear infections, and itchy, smelly skin, Nutro Venison Meal has cleared up all the issues. She has been eating up this food daily for 6 years now. Wouldn't buy anything else!

Unfortunately Sasha does not like the food she won’t eat it. Would you recommend another grain free food for a German Shepherd which has many allergies which effects her skin . We have been battling skin infections
