Senior Food

This was the first senior type food I ordered for my collie mix (50lbs, medium size dog). We've used the regular adult versions for a few yrs now. The senior version biggest noticeable difference is the shape of the kibble itself. It is shaped like a cheerio. Yeah the cereal. It actually makes it a lot easier for my guy to chew. He has had a major molar removed due to dental disease so I am thrilled with this food.

Fostering a senior

I am fostering a Great Dane. Her name is Annie and she is 8 years old. She belonged to my neighbors mother who passed away. The family was going to put Annie down. She was thin and in pain from arthritis. I started feeding her Nutro lamb and rice senior twice a day. She is now at a healthy weight and can run and prance around with excitement. My neighbor and her siblings are amazed at how well she is doing. I have a 6 year old pitbull with food allergies and this is one of the only foods I can feed her. Thank you Nutro for making such great products.

Great for Picky Seniors

My dog is 8 years old and has always been a picky eater. I've gone from bag to bag over the last few years to try to find something she liked. We've just started feeding her this recipe and for the first time in years, she excitedly finishes her bowl. An added bonus is that the kibble has a hollowed middle which I think makes it easier for her to crunch the food with her again teeth. Add the senior focused vitamins/supplements and this product is certainly worth exploring. Happy Dog, Happy Mom.

Both dogs seem to like the food and are not itching their skin as often. The one was having trouble with jumping up on the couch and now that has gotten better also. They are both Shih Tzu breed and brothers, so our house is a lot happier!
