My dogs are 3 and 4 years old. Their breath has improved with this product, and the yellow buildup on my oldest pup is going away. I also do brush their teeth a few times a week to manually break down any gunk build up. I will continue to use this product.
I have a 14 yr old poodle that I adopted with dental issues, at her age she will not allow for any brushing, so adding this to her water does calm her very bad breath, Only a mother can love!
This stuff really helps to keep my pups teeth clean. He refuses to let us brush them, but his teeth look so much better when we are using this! The vet supported the use of this, said it was safe, and my dog doesn't seem to mind any taste. We will continue to use this daily.
Great dental water additive that I have used for my pet for years. Delivery was quick, all bottles in good condition and the price was reasonable.
I started adding small amounts of this additive to my dog's water, and he did not notice. There is a slight blue tint if you add too much/don't dilute it enough, but simply add more fresh water. His breath does seem much less offending, and it has lasted quite a while since you only need a tiny bit each time. I usually make a big bottle and keep it in the fridge to top off, so I'm not undermixing/overmixing the ratios
Quality products, fast shipping, and extremely helpful customer service folks if there is ever an issue!
our vet suggested a water additive might help Lil Buddy's breath and reduce tarter. he loves drinking water and also liked this product. his breath has improved and our next visit to the vet will tell if the tarter has improved.
I have a wonderful chihuahua whose breath typically smells like the breeze off a landfill. Even after a professional teeth cleaning by the vet, her breath was Stinksville. Since Pinky doesn't so much chew dental treats as inhale them, they weren't really helping, so I looked for an alternative. She wouldn't tolerate toothbrushing, so that was out. When I saw that water additives were an option, I said, "Why not?" I admit to being very skeptical. Especially when I got the stuff and it smelled minty (!). But I followed the directions on the bottle and now, two weeks later, Pinky's breath has been nothing but pleasant! I can enjoy her little doggo kisses without passing out.
I waited until I had been using this product for a year before reviewing. Between this and occasional greenies my Cairn Terrier hasn't needed a dental cleaning in over 3 years now. My vet said he has minimal tartar and I think this product is what has done it. Prior to using this water additive he needed a cleaning every year for 5 years and now that he is 12 I don't want to put him under anesthesia. I'm really impressed that it is working. I make a pitcher of water with the additive and keep it in the refrigerator to fill all of his bowls.
I do not know if my dog has great teeth and if this is the reason why but started her on it when I adopted her as a 3 year old. Seven years later, no tartar and lovely breath.
