Terrific product
I waited until I had been using this product for a year before reviewing. Between this and occasional greenies my Cairn Terrier hasn't needed a dental cleaning in over 3 years now. My vet said he has minimal tartar and I think this product is what has done it. Prior to using this water additive he needed a cleaning every year for 5 years and now that he is 12 I don't want to put him under anesthesia. I'm really impressed that it is working. I make a pitcher of water with the additive and keep it in the refrigerator to fill all of his bowls.
Easy to use
Much easier to use than another brand I was using that was a powder and had to be measured with four of the tiny measuring scoops for each quart of water
First timer
I was looking for something to help with my jack Russells horrible breath. I knew Chewy would have the answer and this was it. One week in and his kisses are already sweeter. I will continue to use this product. Highly recommend it if you have a 4 legged stinker!
Do not buy
Pets will not drink with this additive in their water. The very same day there is a slimy film in the bowl.
NOT FOR WATER FOUNTAINS
Do not use if you have a water fountain for your pets and not just a plain bowl for water. I put this in my pets water fountain and it was filled with mold after just a couple days!
Water additive review
This Nylabone dental water additive is a good deal and I am pleased with my purchase. The only thing I do not like about this product is the bottle top, I cannot seem to control the amount when I it pour into my dog's water bowl. It comes out too fast when I pour it. Other than that this is a great product at a great price.
Good stuff!
Although this oral tooth care product has a minty smell and probably taste also, it’s the first one to work on my big Boxer’s teeth and doggie breath. It also costs less ounce per ounce.
A way to help that dog breathe
I can truly tell a difference in using this with my dogs. Their breath smells much better.
great for breath and dental care
Puppy and guest hounds all have great breath. My own dog, at six years, has very little tarter with minimal work in my part. I definitely recommend.
Perfect dental care solution
I already love Nylabone products, and this is the perfect solution, since the doggies of course hate getting treatments by mouth :) The taste is fine to them because they are drinking their water as usual, and it is definitely helping their breath.
