I started my dog on a strict dental cleaning routine the last two weeks after admittedly not sticking to a good schedule before. I used this toothpaste on mondays/wednesdays/fridays, and then sprayed her teeth with Arm&Hammer tartar control dental spray on the other days. In two weeks I was able to get all of the tartar off her back teeth. She also had plaque building up on the back of her bottom k9’s. I wish I took photos of that but within two days of doing the routine, I was able to chip that off completely as well. I included before and after photos of her upper back teeth which were the worst.
Brush their teeth a couple times a week
My dogs tolerate this one better than some of the others. Any of these brands help with tartar and fresh breath only if you brush the dogs teeth at least a couple times a week.
My Puppy Loves It.
I put a little on my finger for my puppy to taste and she loves the flavor. She thinks it is a treat which makes it easy to use on the finger brush.

Freshens breath and my dog really likes the taste. Every time she gets a whiff of this toothpaste, she knows it's time to brush her teeth and she gets excited.

The Best Doggy Toothpaste
I've tried all the doggy toothpastes available. This one is the best. The dog's love it and will even take it as a treat. It doesn't require brushing and with regular use you do see a reduction in tartar within a few weeks. I combine it with the Nylabone dental water additive and the foam. Haven't had to pay a vet for dental work yet. Italian Greyhounds are notorious for dental issues and this toothpaste is a real game changer.
