I took my standard poodles in for their check up and my vet recommended I get these finger toothbrushes for my youngest poodle. She has hard to reach back teeth. We use the regular dog toothbrushes but our vet said these are easier to manage those hard to reach areas way in the back. We use the regular dog toothbrushes but our vet said these are easier to manage those hard to reach areas way in the back. They have worked good so far. My standard poodles are used to having their teeth brushed so it's easy for us to brush and go. If using with a dog that is not used to it , these may take a few trys before getting it without your dog wanting to bite down on your finger. Lol we recommended these as an easy way to keep the teeth clean. … more

My yorkie puppy chewed up both of these within 5 minutes. Found a different brand that works much better.

good for puppies
By aubstheslob on Jan 3, 2021
If your pup is new to teeth brushing, using a finger brush is a great way to start them off. It gives you more control compared to a brush - you know when you’ve made contact with their teeth, gums, tongue, etc. Our pups baby teeth are VERY sharp but she still hasn’t managed to puncture these finger brushes!

Brushing dogs teeth
By Skeeter on Dec 30, 2020
These finger toothbrushes are very helpful to brushing dog’s teeth. I found out that using a brush on both hands makes it easier to brush both sides of my dogs mouth. She needed convincing that it was alright for me to brush her teeth after wiggling a bit but she liked the flavor of Petrodex toothpaste. She waits to brush her teeth after I brush mine every night.

Gets the job done
By Hoorayforpets on Dec 13, 2020
My Havanese boy responded well to this dentifrice. I inserted his toothbrush inside the finger brush, put some doggy toothpaste on it and he opened his mouth like a big boy. It is soft, supple, and great for getting to those hard to reach areas. Very effective!

This works easier than toothbrush. So far no problems with this. My puppy is 4 months old. I recommend for people to try this.

Purchase this Nylabone finger brush to use on my 6-month old labrador. It works as well as it should. No complaints. Would buy again.
