    Perfect for destructive chewers

By Stephany on Nov 7, 2017

I have a havanese mix who is a very destructive chewer and is very determined to chew up everything she can find. I was a bit worried that she will chew it and break it as soon as she got it but it has been 2 or 3 weeks and the dino is still alive! however the head is completely chewed up its still securely I have a havanese mix who is a very destructive chewer and is very determined to chew up everything she can find. They chewing keeps her distracted and entertained all day long. … more

    Power Chewer?

By TahoesPetrent on Nov 12, 2017

The photo depicts what my 60lb, 6m lab did in a matter of a hour. I was going through his treat bin and found this, realizing he was over the weight allowance, but figured he is still a puppy so I better give it to him now. It did keep him busy for a bit, but I don't think I would call this a "power The photo depicts what my 60lb, 6m lab did in a matter of a hour. My dogs did not like, except for the mini Australian Shepherd. Will not buy again for them. The Nylabone is hard enough so that he cannot chew it up in one day. He has been working on it for days and it still is in one piece. I like the idea that it does not have an odor!

  • Disappointed

I have a 13 pound miniature schnauzer that is 9 months old. She has her adult teeth but continues to be a powerful chewer. Within 3 minutes of giving her this toy she had gnawed the head and feet. I purchased this because it claims to be for powerful chewers. This toy did not withstand my dogs teeth

  • Sadly disappointed

The toy itself has nothing "wrong" with it. It's just much harder than I expected. It's rock hard, almost seems like it would hurt his teeth rather than encourage him to chew on it. Our one year old 50lb Goldendoodle has developed a new love of chewing and has loved all chew toys but he has been completely disinterested in this one. Maybe that will change over time but he barely touched it all weekend and loved all his other new toys! At least it was only $5...

  • Didn't stand up to my super chewer

    By on

Snoopy (2yo Bull Terrier) liked is it, but he'd done enough damage in :20, that we had to toss it. He's one of those chew it and eat it pups. It must be destoyed and consumed. Absolutely fixated on the toy. This one didn't work for him. But might be great for less obsessed pups.

  • A little disappointing

My 9 month old puppy started breaking off pieces from the stegosaurus's tail within 5 minutes of chewing. I ordered because the TRex looked a little sturdier, but alas..you get whatever dino they choose to ship. NOT for power chewers with the stego tail.

  • Way too hard, rock hard toy

    By on

It recommended this item when I was checking out and I was purchasing puppy food. It ended up being a rock hard toy extra strength. We couldn't give it to our puppy, we thought she would break a tooth. Chewy.com should do a better job recommending items.

My 50 pound Pitbull destroyed this toy in minutes. I'm disappointed because I thought it was durable and unbreakable. I still love chewy though.

My 7 month shiba bit it into pieces within 5 minutes and started eating it. This claimed to be indestructible...

  • White nubs everywhere

    By on

My dog loved this toy. It doesn't last as long as regular Nylabones. She ate through half of the toy in a couple of weeks and I find little white nubs everywher. Buy the bone shaped ones
