I have a havanese mix who is a very destructive chewer and is very determined to chew up everything she can find. I was a bit worried that she will chew it and break it as soon as she got it but it has been 2 or 3 weeks and the dino is still alive! however the head is completely chewed up its still securely I have a havanese mix who is a very destructive chewer and is very determined to chew up everything she can find. They chewing keeps her distracted and entertained all day long. … more

    Power Chewer?

By TahoesPetrent on Nov 12, 2017

The photo depicts what my 60lb, 6m lab did in a matter of a hour. I was going through his treat bin and found this, realizing he was over the weight allowance, but figured he is still a puppy so I better give it to him now. It did keep him busy for a bit, but I don't think I would call this a "power The photo depicts what my 60lb, 6m lab did in a matter of a hour. • Great cheaper chew toy

    By on

I've purchased two so far. My pit lab mix does chew through it and I have to eventually throw it out, but it lasts awhile and keeps him busy. He has a whole basket of toys, if it focused all his time on this one toy, it'd be demolished in one day. But he rotates his toys throughout the day and it lasts a little while. It's a cheap new toy I'll buy once every few months. I bet it cleans his teeth good because of the nubs on it and the way he gnaws on it.

  • SMALLER THAN EXPECTED

    By on

When I opened the box I was very surprised how small it was, I have a beagle hound mix and a rodesian ridge back so I ordered the large. The boys love it though and I alway supervise with this toy. They chew on it all the time and it is still In one piece!

  • Good toy for strong chewers

    By on

My dog loves to chew and destroys anything plush. He did chew the tail off (got the stegosaurus, not t-Rex) a bit since it is thinner there, but still going strong other than that!

  • Good Nylabone for Strong Chewers

My Pembroke Welsh Corgi destroys many types of toys, but has barely made a dent in this Dinosaur chew. The interesting shape attracts his attention, too. (I will warn that if you step on them, they are quite uncomfortable for your bare feet. Perhaps the best use would be as a chew for a monitored but kenneled dog.)

  • Cute chew toy

My dog was pretty excited about this right out of the package. He doesn't like it as much as real bones, but it seems safer for his teeth. I don't know that he'll use it enough to get the true benefits of it cleaning his teeth.

  • Chew toy for Lab

    By on

One of our Labs loves to chew. This isn't his favorite, but he does go back to it. It's a sturdy chew and stands up to a 115 Lab!

  • Great at first

    By on

My girls loved them at first, but like all nylabones they get so sharp after a few chews. Once they get sharp I have to toss them.

  • Dogs enjoyed but short-lived

    By on

My German shepherd mix and black lab both loved the long-neck dino chew, so much in fact that they only lasted about 3 weeks before they became too small for them to safely have.

My dog has been unable to destroy this toy so far which is rare. It's holding up rather well.
