    My girl loves this

    Nylabone Fail.

I ordered a Nylabone for my destructive chewer in hopes that she'd finally have something to chew on that she couldn't destroy. Within about 10 minutes, she'd been able to shave probably 50-60 small pieces of material off of this and was well on her way to gnawing off the tail - a chunk of material that could have been easily swallowed/been a choking hazard. I know lots of folks have great luck with Nylabone, but I won't be purchasing again. … more

  • One tough Chew Toy

    By on

We have a 9 month Bullmastiff that is a big chewer. This toy is great for her not being able to destroy it in a day but it is WAY smaller than I thought it would be. I should have checked measurements but the picture made it look like a pretty decent size. Its still fine for her I just don't leave her alone with it. You don't want to step on this either, it will put holes in your foot! Dog loves it though so for now it stays.

  • Dog likes the shape

    By on

My dog likes the shape of this one and it is a favorite chew. I wonder if the plastic is a little softer than the usual nylabone because this one is really getting the tooth marks. No chunks coming off and I am keeping an eye on it. Well worth the money for the amount of use it is getting. Maybe a bit small for a really big dog, but it is too large to swallow for my 60 pound dog with the big mouth. She likes to carry it around. She's a big nylabone fan. Some dogs like nylabone, some don't. If your dog likes nylabone your dog should like this one. Something about the shape is really attractive for chewing.

  • Great for the Dog

    By on

The Nylabone dinosaur has been great for our dog. It is able to withstand some heavy chewing and still keep it's shape. It has not come apart at all. My only complaint is that we really wanted the T-red and we got the loser stegasaurus.

  • Perfect for destructive chewers

    By on

I have a havanese mix who is a very destructive chewer and is very determined to chew up everything she can find. I was a bit worried that she will chew it and break it as soon as she got it but it has been 2 or 3 weeks and the dino is still alive! however the head is completely chewed up its still securely attached to the rest of the body! its just unrecognizable :) It has definitely helped stop my dog from trying to chew everybody else's things including baby toys. They chewing keeps her distracted and entertained all day long.

  • My Scotties Like This

    By on

My Scotties prefer the smelly hooves, but this is another good option and they will play with this and chew on it once in a while. The little nubs and different shape is easy for them to get their mouth around.

  • My dog loves his Dino!

    By on

My 3 yr old 80 lb labradoodle loves his Dino! He does chew them down, but each one has lasted him a few (2-3) weeks before it gets too small and he needs a new one. For my power chewer, a toy lasting more than a day gets a good review in our house!

This works, and it gets a chew every now and then. Its filing down - is how i would describe it, but it get Super sharp and again, is really hard - so its a weapon if our GSP (10mo) asks to play with it :)
