Dogs loved them and easy to digest
Our dogs have sensitive stomachs, and it’s hard to find treats that won’t upset them - especially training treats when they are eating many of them! We were please with Nylabone’s treats, both as a reward the dogs wanted, and as one that didn’t leave them with upset stomachs. It was also helpful that they could somewhat easily be broken in half so we could better moderate how much we were giving to the dogs. Definitely a go-to for future training treats!
Little treats
I like the Nylabone brand and buy them because they are made in the U.S. is a plus for me. These are a nice sized treat for dogs but they have an odd smell. Some dog treats smell good but these ones just don't. My dogs don't seem to mind but I did worry about their stomach getting upset but I only gave them 2 a day just in case and didn't have any issues. I bought both chicken and beef packages and they were the same with the smell. Overall for me I will pass on these but I do like the small snack size.
Not so soft & chewy
I bought these for my 4 month old German shepherd puppy. Maybe I misunderstood the “chewy” on the package, but these are more like hard rubber. I give him other brands of training treats and they are soft and chewy and easy to eat. When I give my pup this brand, he looks confused and it takes him a few seconds to actually chew them up. I have to give him 1 at a time where with other treats, I can give him multiple ones at a time. Maybe the “chewy” means they are actually harder to chew? We’ll finish off the bag but I will not purchase these again.
